We're still in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami with a monumental mural by Jeremy Fish in two parts, each about 30 meters high and 16 meters wide. It's impressive and visible from far away 😀.

Jeremy Fish

Jeremy Fish, an artist from San Francisco active since 1994, painted this enormous mural, titled ENDANGERED, in 2023, depicting the two iconic animals of California and Florida: a grizzly bear and a puma. He wanted to highlight these animals, which are increasingly threatened by human activity. The style is truly superb. For your information, it took two weeks of work with the help of artists Daniel Antelo and Guillaume Ollivier. Respect! 🙏

Jeremy Fish, artiste venant de San Francisco actif depuis 1994, a peint cette énorme murale, intitulée ENDANGERED, en 2023 représentant les deux animaux emblémtiques de la Californie et de la Floride, un Grizzli et un Puma. Il a voulu souligner ces animaux qui sont de plus en plus menacés par l'activité humaine. Le style est vraiment superbe. Pour info, il y a deux semaines de travail avec l'aide des artistes Daniel Antelo et Guillaume Ollivier. Respect 🙏.

Rage Johnson

On the other side of 23rd Street, there are also a few garages that are painted. But the whole neighborhood is painted, so it's normal. It's a work by Rage Johnson, a New York artist, which immerses us in the streets of Havana; well, it looks like a Buena Vista Social Club album cover, doesn't it?

De l'autre côté de la 23ème rue, il y a aussi quelques garages eux aussi peints. Mais tout le quartier est peint alors c'est normal. Il s'agit d'une oeuvre de Rage Johnson, artiste new-yorkais, qui nous plonge dans les rues de La Havane, enfin cela ressemble à une pochette de disque du Buena Vista Social Club, non ?

Next to them are the tomatoes of Atomik, an artist very present in the streets of the neighborhood, but for once the tomatoes are green* 😀. *This is followed by a Family Addams version of The Simpsons, always nice to see Homer, an unknown artist, S.A.T. or Melski.

A côté, on retrouve les tomates de Atomik, artiste très présent dans les rues du quartier, mais pour une fois les tomates sont vertes 😀. C'est suivi par une version Family Adams des Simpsons, toujours sympathique de voir Homer, artiste inconnu, S.A.T. ou Melski.

Halmerick & RETNA

Another artist often seen in Wynwood is Halmerick with his sun with a friendly and fun style, perfect for Florida. Above it's calligraphy by the artist RETNA, an artist from Los Angeles. He is said to have been one of the first artists to create works in this neighborhood, thus contributing to its popularity.

Un autre artiste qu'on retrouve souvent à Wynwood, il s'agit de Halmerick avec son soleil, sympathique parfait pour la Floride. Au dessus, il y a de la calligraphie de l'artiste RETNA, un artiste venant de Los Angeles. Soit disant, c'est un des premiers artistes à avoir réalisé des oeuvres dans ce quartier contribuant ainsi à son succès.

I really like the little black and white graffiti by XBF (?) under the window; I didn't notice it when I took the photo. It was only while writing this post that I spotted this nice little detail.

J'aime bien le petit graffiti de XBF (?) en noir et blanc sous la fenêtre, je ne l'avais pas remarqué en prenant la photo. C'est juste en écrivant ce post que j'ai aperçu ce petit détail sympathique.
