This is a wall at the Under Festival that I almost never photograph. It's not because of a lack of quality. It's mostly my fault; I'm not comfortable on this street. There's a supervised injection site and with the people hanging around the street can be a bit intimidating. Usually, nothing bad happens, but getting my camera out when a few people are loitering in front of it... too difficult.

C'est un mur du festival Under Festival que je ne prends presque jamais en photo. Ce n'est pas par un manque de qualité. C'est surtout ma faute, je ne suis pas à l'aise dans cette rue. Il y a un site d'injection supervisé juste un peu loin et la population qui traine dans la rue fait parfois peur. Généralement, rien de méchant mais sortir mon appareil photo quand quelques personnes trainent devant... difficile.

But for this collaboration between the YU8 and LTG crews, there was nobody in the street... I took advantage of it. / FR : Mais pour cette collaboration des collectifs YU8 et LTG, personne dans la rue... J'en ai profité.

This wall is located on Berger Street, almost at the corner with Sainte-Catherine Street in Montreal. The red numbers on the map correspond to all the walls done during the 2026 edition of the Under Festival, for example C320 is for the mural by MonkE and OFA presented during the StreetArt Contest #320.

Ce mur se trouve dans la rue Berger presque au coin avec la rue Sainte-Catherine à Montréal. Les numéros en rouge sur la carte correspondent à tous les murs fait lors de l'édition 2026 du Under Festival, exemple C320 c'est pour la murale de MonkE et OFA présentée lors du StreetArt Contest #320.

YU8 & LTG

This mural was done by two crews very active in the streets of Montreal. The first part is the work of YU8 with Gothic-style lettering, then after the character, it's the turn of Tontons Graffeurs aka LTG Crew.

Ce mur a été réalisé par deux collectifs très actifs dans les rues de Montréal. La première partie est l'oeuvre de YU8 avec des lettres style gothique puis après le personnage, c'est le tour des Tontons Graffeurs aka LTG Crew.

Many artists participated in creating this important wall, including on the Tontons Graffeurs Eksept, Hoar, Hozek, Rizek, Smoluk... and on the other side, Resok, Leys, Eskro for YU8 crew... I've probably forgotten quite a few artists, but I'm not sure who was present and who wasn't.

De nombreux artistes ont participé pour réaliser cet important mur avec du côté des Tontons Graffeurs Eksept, Hoar, Hozek, Rizek, Smoluk... Et de l'autre côté, Resok, Leys, Eskro... J'ai sûrement oublié pas mal d'artistes mais je ne suis pas sûr qui était présent et qui ne l'était pas.

The bluish figure in the center is really well done, although its meaning remains a mystery. A bit too strange for my taste. The lettering isn't really my style either. But the work on the shape and the filling is quite impressive. A lot of work and talent went into achieving this result.

Le personnage bleuté au centre est vraiment très bien fait bien que sa signification reste un mystère. Un peu trop bizarre à mon gout. Les lettres aussi ne sont pas trop mon style. Mais le travail dans le forme ou le remplissage est impressionnant. Beaucoup de travail et de talent pour arriver à ce résultat.
