As a musician or as an Instrumentalist playing a music, there are some certain parameters which you must know and be able and willing to follow. These parameters are what will guide your steps to not going against musical rules because when you go against musical rules then all what you are playing is actually a noise.

To start with, what is music?
Music is simply anything of melodic sound that has rythme in it and when produced, it has a meaning to you.. music can be of different kinds which is the sad solemn music, the rock, the blues, highlife music and many more like that.. when playing all this songs, you are actually passing a message which it is been relayed to who so ever is hearing it. And when a person listens to it, he or she must be able to know the kind of message which you are passing across in the song.

Now to the topic, understanding some aspect of music.. music is very diverse and very wide that you need to know exactly which part you are playing in music and where you are playing towards.. when you are playing highlife music for example, the people around must feel the impact of the song and the musical instruments been played to it and not just playing randomly. When you are playing blues, the audience should understand that they are in a bluesy atmosphere and not going to jazz when you are to play blues..

Music is actually interesting when you make the notes you play clear and clean enough.. people will tend to understand that you are passing a message across to them by this. Play sound that will make people happy when they are to be happy because songs have healings in it and it heals the mind..

I wonder if music really needs to bring the message across of the one who composed it, and/or the one who performs it. I believe it's up to the listener what to take away from the music, and how to react to the music. It's useful to the listener to realise what music style is being played at some concert or festival so that the listener is not trying to request music from a whole different style or genre, or the listener gets stupidly bored after a few minutes or even seconds when the style is not to the liking of the listener. That said, I believe in opening up the mind of peeps by bringing a totally different style of music as part of a set evening, eg the opening act to let's say Bruce Springsteen would be great of this is a Blues act, or Jazz, or electronic of some sort. How cool is that?

Nice it's cool actually it determines the kind of the way people take the song that will determine how they will relate with it. Thanks for coming around you are much appreciated
