I was on a tour of Mérida, a dream come true [Eng/Spa]

Es difícil también contener la emoción al momento de mostrarles por aquí y de esta manera lo que viví al recorrer Mérida, uno de los estados con mayores atracciones turísticas de Venezuela y que hasta ahora fue que tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo, desde pequeño siempre quise conocerlo, estar allí, y vivir la experiencia de su gente, costumbres, comida, paisajes, su frio y sus dulces emblemáticos.

Tenia tanto tiempo sin sentirme tan emocionado y este viaje me devolvió a mi época de niño soñador y pude disfrutar mi viaje como un niño con juguete nuevo.

Son tantas cosas que quiero contarles y mostrarles pero en esta publicación les contare todo el recorrido que tuvimos durante esos 3 días y 2 noches en la gran y encantadora cuidad de Mérida.

It is also difficult to contain the emotion when showing you here and in this way what I experienced when touring Mérida, one of the states with the greatest tourist attractions in Venezuela and until now I had the opportunity to know it, since I was little I always wanted to know it , be there, and live the experience of its people, customs, food, landscapes, its cold and its emblematic sweets.

I had not felt so excited for so long and this trip took me back to my time as a dreamy child and I was able to enjoy my trip like a child with a new toy.

There are so many things that I want to tell you and show you, but in this publication I will tell you the entire journey we had during those 3 days and 2 nights in the great and charming city of Mérida.

Después de recorrer gran parte de su paramo, hicimos la primera parada en La Casa de las Fresas, lugar donde desayunamos y pude hacer mis primeras fotografías en medio de mi tembladera al tener contacto con el frio de las 6:30am de la mañana a sus 6 grados centígrados, el cual me afecto bastante pero sirvió para acostumbrarme a lo que venia.

After touring a large part of its paramo, we made the first stop at La Casa de las Fresas, a place where we had breakfast and I was able to take my first photographs in the middle of my tremble when I came into contact with the cold at 6:30 am in the morning. 6 degrees Celsius, which affected me quite a bit but helped me get used to what was coming.

Más arriba, hicimos otra parada en La Casa del Pastel II donde tomamos nuestro primer chocolate caliente merideño, y este no iba hacer el único durante todo este tour, desde de contar después del diez, aquí disfrute muchísimo mas del paisaje ya que en la parte baja del lugar estaba a solo pasos del rio y pudimos disfrutar del chocolate acompañado del frio y del sonido tan genial del rio mientras salía el sol.

Further up, we made another stop at La Casa del Pastel II where we had our first Merida hot chocolate, and this was not going to be the only one during this entire tour, since counting after ten, here I enjoyed the landscape much more since in the The ground floor of the place was just steps from the river and we were able to enjoy the chocolate accompanied by the cold and the great sound of the river while the sun rose.

Después fuimos al lugar más esperado del primer día, Pico el águila también conocido como el Collado del Condor, a 4118 m.s.n.m y si, el frio y la brisa eran bastante geniales.

Then we went to the most anticipated place of the first day, Pico la Águila also known as Collado del Condor, at 4118 meters above sea level and yes, the cold and the breeze were quite great.

Tenia algo de nervios porque no había experimentado tanta altura desde el 2012 que estuve en la misma cordillera de los andes pero en Colombia y fue una gran experiencia, no sucedió nada, solo frio, afectaciones en la nariz y cansancio, pero nada fuera de lo común, pero después entre tantas afectaciones del pulmón y después el covid tenia un poco de preocupación al estar a tal actitud y presión, pero gracias a Dios esta altitud no me afecto para nada y me pude sentir a gusto y disfrute al máximo de lo que me rodeaba.

I was a little nervous because I had not experienced so much altitude since 2012 when I was in the same Andes mountain range but in Colombia and it was a great experience, nothing happened, just cold, nose problems and fatigue, but nothing out of the ordinary. common, but then between so many lung effects and then the covid I had a little worry being at such an attitude and pressure, but thank God this altitude did not affect me at all and I was able to feel comfortable and enjoy what I had to the fullest. surrounded me.

Después de allí fuimos a la emblemática Capilla de piedra que por desgracia solo la pudimos ver desde lejos ya que estaba en reparaciones y bueno, fue una de las experiencias malas del primer día, cosa que obviamente se nos escapa de las manos pero aun así pude fotografiarlas desde lejos para guardar ese recuerdo de que estuve allí.

After there we went to the emblematic Stone Chapel that unfortunately we could only see from a distance since it was under repair and well, it was one of the bad experiences of the first day, something that was obviously out of our hands but I was still able photograph them from afar to keep that memory that I was there.

Todo este recorrido del primer día fue lo mejor, pude disfrutarlo de la mejor manera y jamás se me va a olvidar todo lo que viví durante esos días en Mérida, ame todo, su comida, costumbres, dulces y su clima, bastante fuerte al principio pero después uno se acostumbra, después de varios chocolates y café claro.

This entire tour of the first day was the best, I was able to enjoy it in the best way and I will never forget everything I experienced during those days in Mérida, I loved everything, its food, customs, sweets and its climate, quite strong at the beginning but then you get used to it, after several chocolates and light coffee.

Esta ultima foto es de una cerveza local, hecha a base de miel y sinceramente es la primera cerveza tan dulce y sabrosa que he probado, los grados de alcohol no se sienten y fue lo mejor de la noche.

This last photo is of a local beer, made with honey and honestly it is the first beer so sweet and tasty that I have tried, the alcohol levels are not noticeable and it was the best of the night.

Tengo mucho por compartir y muchas fotos por sacar, porque pude sacar grandes fotografía con mi cámara, porque ni por broma iba a dejar mi cámara para este viaje, fue mi tercer brazo y capturo grandes momentos.

I have a lot to share and a lot of photos to take, because I was able to take great photos with my camera, because I was not even going to leave my camera for this trip, it was my third arm and I captured great moments.
