Photographing Alba Patricia, from an artist to artist | monomad challenge [Eng/Spa]

I had the opportunity to photograph a well-known singer in my city but I had not had the opportunity to meet her face to face and the first time was in her live performance opening for a recognized singer from our country, Karina La Voz.

I present to you Alba Patricia, and it was a complete surprise for me the way everything happened, from when they sent her my work until they decided to invite me to record and photograph her live at her presentation.

Tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar a una cantante conocida en mi cuidad pero que no había tenido la oportunidad de conocerla cara a cara y la primera vez fue en su presentación en vivo haciéndole apertura a una cantante reconocida de nuestro país, Karina La Voz.

Les presento a Alba Patricia, y fue toda una sorpresa para mi la manera en como sucedió todo, desde que le mandaron mi trabajo hasta que decidieron invitarme para grabarla y fotografiarla en vivo en su presentación.

Behind the stage we talked and discussed what was necessary and very essential to record and the key points in each song given that she also had dancers with her and that she was going to put on a real show.

It is not the first time on stage for me, but it was the first time doing several things at the same time but I managed to do the job for which they called me without much problem.

Alba was very happy with her photos and videos and that for me is everything, not only as a photographer but also as a singer and musician, I know how important it is for us that our presentation is well recorded and that some photograph is for us the to tell us that everything was a success just by seeing it.

Detrás de tarima hablamos y comentamos lo que era necesario y muy indispensable grabar y los puntos claves en cada canción dado que también tenia junto a ella bailarines y que iba hacer un verdadero show.

No es primera vez en tarima para mi, pero si fue primera vez haciendo varias cosas a la vez pero logre hacer el trabajo para el cual me llamaron sin tanto problema.

Alba quedo muy contenta con sus fotos y sus videos y eso para mi lo es todo, no solo como fotógrafo sino también como cantante y musico, se lo importante que es para nosotros que nuestra presentación quede bien grabada y que alguna fotografía sea para nosotros la que nos diga que todo fue un exito de solo verla.

Doing this fulfills me a lot and yes, I must accept that I really like being on stage witnessing, recording, singing, speaking, and moving like crazy but always giving my best, with my camera, my voice or my instrument.

Hacer esto me llena mucho y si, debo aceptar que me gusta mucho estar en tarima presenciando, grabando, cantanto, hablando, y moviendome como un loco pero para siempre dar lo mejor, con mi camara, mi voz o mi instrumento.
