(ENG-TUR) HAIL FALLED IN ANTALYA – ANTALYA’DA DOLU YAĞIŞI

Hello to everyone!
I witnessed hailstorm in Antalya last night. I went out early in the morning without thinking that I would experience something like this. After walking on the beach all day, I called my friend in the evening and asked her to join me. Immediately afterwards, a heavy rain started. I ate dinner with my friend, who came to me without paying any attention, and waited for the rain to stop. We were spending time accompanied by the sound and smell of rain.

After a very short time, we noticed that a sudden hailstorm started. I find hail surprising and impressive. I could hear the crowd of people panicking about how to get home. The ice grains that fell to the ground soon spread a snow-white coating around. Even though such natural events are unexpected and sometimes damaging, I think they show us the power of nature.

I don't know how long the rain lasted, but when we realized it had stopped, we set out on our way back. It was a walk in which we made an intense effort not to step on ice grains and fall. The streets became deserted and the streets we were used to seeing crowded all the time became quiet. I took a few photos to immortalize these moments and wanted to share them with you. Geçen gece Antalya’da dolu yağışına şahitlik ettim. Güneşli başlayan günün gecesi bambaşka sonlandı. Böyle bir şey yaşayacağımı düşünmeden sabahın erken saatlerinde dışarı çıkmıştım. Gün boyu sahilde yürüyüş yaptıktan sonra akşamüzeri arkadaşımı arayarak bana katılmasını söyledim. Hemen ardından şiddetli bir yağış başladı. Umursamadan yanıma gelen arkadaşımla akşam yemeğini yedik ve yağmurun dinmesini bekledik. Yağmurun sesi ve kokusu eşliğinde vakit geçiriyorduk.

Çok kısa bir süre sonra ani bir dolu yağışının başladığını fark ettik. Dolu yağışını şaşırtıcı ve etkileyici buluyorum. Eve nasıl döneceğini düşünüp telaşa kapılan insanların kalabalığını duyuyordum. Yere düşen buz taneleri kısa sürede etrafa bembeyaz bir örtü serdi. Bu tür doğa olayları beklenmedik ve bazen zarar verici olsa da doğanın gücünü gösteriyor bence bizlere.

Yağış ne kadar sürdü bilmiyorum ama durduğunu fark edince dönüş yoluna koyulduk. Buz tanelerine basıp düşmemek için yoğun bir çaba harcadığımız bir yürüyüş oldu. Sokaklar ıssızlaşmış ve her zaman kalabalık görmeye alışkın olduğumuz sokaklar sessizleşmişti. Bu anları ölümsüzleştirmek adına birkaç fotoğraf çektim ve sizlerle paylaşmak istedim.
