(ENG-TUR) NATURE WALK WITH A STUNNING VIEW AND FULL OF PEONEY BLOWERS - MUHTEŞEM MANZARALI VE ŞAKAYIK ÇİÇEKLERİYLE DOLU DOĞA YÜRÜYÜŞÜ

Hello everyone!

In this article, I will introduce you to the Peony flower, an endemic plant species. I will also present some sections from the walk we took in the magnificent nature of Antalya.

Sizleri bu yazımda endemik bir bitki türü olan Şakayık çiçeğiyle tanıştıracağım. Aynı zamanda Antalya’nın müthiş doğasında çıktığımız yürüyüşten bazı kesitler sunacağım.

Weekends are an opportunity for me to travel. This week, I saw that a nature walk event was planned for the Peony flower, which can only be observed for a short period of time in Antalya. I didn't want to miss it and had a great experience. The amazing landscapes I saw and this flower I met greatly impressed me. I took many photos to share with you.

Hafta sonları benim için seyahat etme fırsatıdır. Bu hafta Antalya’da sadece kısa bir zaman diliminde gözlenebilecek Şakayık çiçeği için bir doğa yürüyüşü etkinliği planlandığını gördüm. Bunu kaçırmak istemedim ve çok güzel bir deneyim elde ettim. Gördüğüm müthiş manzaralar ve tanıştığım bu çiçek beni fazlasıyla etkiledi. Sizlerle paylaşmak için birçok fotoğraf çektim.

I left home early in the morning to go to the meeting point. After a short walk, I reached the bus. Our guide shared brief information about the tour on the bus. We learned that our destination was not too far and that we would arrive at the Peony conservation area after a bus ride of approximately 40 minutes. After observing the peonies, we will get on the bus again and reach the point where we will take a nature walk.

Sabahın erken saatlerinde buluşma noktasına gitmek üzere evden çıktım. Kısa bir yürüyüşten sonra otobüse ulaştım. Rehberimiz otobüste tur hakkında kısa bilgiler paylaştı. Gideceğimiz yer çok uzak değilmiş yaklaşık 40 dakikalık bir otobüs yolculuğundan sonra Şakayık koruma alanına varacağımızı öğrendik. Şakayıkları gözlemledikten sonra tekrar otobüse binip doğa yürüyüşü yapacağımız noktaya ulaşacağız.

Before our walk, we took a break in the breakfast room. I bought bagels fresh from the oven. I will enjoy eating this during our lunch break after the walk.

Yürüyüşümüzün öncesinde kahvaltı salonunda mola verildi. Fırından yeni çıkmış simitlerden satın aldım. Bunu yürüyüş sonrası vereceğimiz yemek molasında afiyetle yiyeceğim.

After breakfast, our journey started. We soon arrived at the Peony reserve. I learned that peonies only appear around this time in our area. Peonies, which do not like the sun very much, can be in red, pink and white colors. Cutting and damaging is strictly prohibited and is punishable by fine.

Kahvaltının ardından yolculuğumuz başladı. Kısa bir süre sonra Şakayık koruma alanına vardık. Şakayıkların bölgemizde sadece bu zamanlarda ortaya çıktığını öğrendim. Güneşi pek sevmeyen Şakayıklar kırmızı, pembe ve beyaz renklerde olabiliyormuş. Koparmak ve zarar vermek kesinlikle yasak ve para cezası varmış.

We spent about half an hour in this area with my friends. We took lots of photos and returned to the bus to go hiking.

Arkadaşlarımla bu alanda yaklaşık yarım saat vakit geçirdik. Bolca fotoğraf çektik ve doğa yürüyüşü yapmak üzere tekrar otobüse döndük.

After a short, not too long journey, we came to the beginning of the path where we would hike. We don't yet know if we will arrive at a magnificent view as a result of this path.

Yine çok uzun olmayan kısa bir yolculuk sonucunda doğa yürüyüşü yapacağımız patikanın başlangıcına geldik. Bu patikanın sonucunda muhteşem bir manzaraya varacağımızı henüz bilmiyoruz.

We started walking on the path full of large and small stones. At the end of the road, we will reach Dastaratacak, one of the most beautiful views of Antalya.

İrili ufaklı taşlarla dolu patikadan yürüyüşe başladık. Yolun sonunda Antalya’nın en güzel manzaralarından biri olan Dastaratacağı ’na ulaşacağız.

We were walking through lush trees, listening to the sounds of nature and birds. We took breaks from time to time to rest and take photos.

Doğanın ve kuşların sesini dinleyerek yemyeşil ağaçların arasından ilerliyorduk. Ara ara dinlenmek ve fotoğraf çekmek için mola veriyorduk.

We climbed some challenging slopes and finally reached Dastaratacak. This view was truly magnificent. There was a seating area made of logs here. Don't you think it's so cute?

Yer yer zorlayıcı yokuşlar çıktık ve sonunda Dastaratacağı’na ulaştık. Bu manzara gerçekten muhteşemdi. Burada kütükten yapılmış bir oturma alanı bulunuyordu. Sizce de çok tatlı değil mi?

The unique nature of Antalya and the Mediterranean were before us. We took both a lunch break and a coffee break here. I can say we had a long time.

Antalya’nın eşsiz doğası ve Akdeniz karşımızdaydı. Burada hem yemek molası hem de kahve molası verdik. Uzunca bir zaman geçirdik diyebilirim.

Then, with the command of our guide, we set out on our way back.

Ardından rehberimizin komutu ile dönüş yoluna koyulduk.

We have come to the end of this tiring but enjoyable walk. I don't think I will ever forget this beautiful walk full of endemic plant species. I hope I was able to convey this excitement to you. Thank you for reading. See you in my next travel article!
