Our route is Doyran pond.
This is a place intertwined with nature in Antalya, Turkey.
It is only 20 minutes away from the center of Antalya.
It is possible to spend a peaceful time here. Quiet, calm and lush.
It is a place to come for reading, cycling, camping, picnic or hiking like us. Let me state that there are no facilities around this pond. Those who come for camping or to spend time during the day should bring all their needs with them.

Rotamız Doyran göleti.
Burası Türkiye’nin Antalya şehrinde bulunan doğayla iç içe bir yer.
Antalya merkeze sadece 20 dakika mesafede bulunuyor.
Burada huzurlu bir şekilde vakit geçirmek mümkün. Sessiz, sakin ve yemyeşil.
Kitap okumak, bisiklet binmek, kamp yapmak, piknik yapmak ya da bizim gibi doğa yürüyüşü yapmak için gelinebilecek bir yer. Bu göletin çevresinde herhangi bir tesis bulunmadığını belirtmiş olayım. Kamp yapmak için ve ya gün boyu vakit geçirmek için gelecekler yanında tüm ihtiyaçlarını getirmeli.

We witnessed very beautiful views in this place where we came to take a walk. Now I want to include you in this tour.
We will visit the ancient city of Neopolis, Doyran monastery and Doyran pond.

Biz yürüyüş yapmak için geldiğimiz bu yerde çok güzel manzaralara şahit olduk. Şimdi bu gezintiye sizleri de dahil etmek istiyorum.
Neopolis antik kenti, Doyran manastırı ve Doyran göleti’ni gezeceğiz.

Hadi başlayalım. 😊

The first place we will see is the ancient city of Neopolis. Our road is long and difficult. We will reach this place, which is located on a little hill, by walking through the forest path. We will have to climb and descend from place to place. Enjoying the view and the weather, we start walking with pleasure.

İlk göreceğimiz yer Neopolis antik kenti. Yolumuz uzun ve zorlu. Biraz tepede bulunan bu yere orman içi patikadan yürüyerek ulaşacağız. Yer yer tırmanış ve iniş yapmamız gerekecek. Manzaranın ve havanın tadını çıkartarak keyifle yürümeye başlıyoruz.

We reach the ancient city. There aren't many artifacts left standing here. We come across several sarcophagi. We have the chance to watch Antalya from a bird's eye view from the top.

Antik kente ulaşıyoruz. Burada ayakta kalan çok fazla eser yok. Birkaç lahite rastlıyoruz. Tepe noktadan Antalya’yı kuşbakışı seyretme şansımız oluyor.

I should enjoy a coffee when I'm at the peak. My slightly cold hands are warming up with this coffee. ☕

Tam zirvedeyken bir kahve keyfi yapmadan olmaz. Hafiften üşüyen ellerim bu kahveyle beraber ısınıyor. ☕

Now we will continue towards the monastery. From this point, we need to get off again and walk a little more.

Şimdi manastıra doğru devam edeceğiz. Çıktığımız bu noktadan tekrar inip biraz daha yürümemiz gerekiyor.

We arrive at the monastery. The Doyran pond, which we will go to shortly, is right in front of us. I loved it here. I feel like Rapunzel in this part of the monastery.
If my prince came, I would grow my hair. It's hard for me to do that with this hair though.
I'd better keep writing my post. 😃

Manastıra varıyoruz. Birazdan gideceğimiz Doyran göleti tam karşımızda. Ben buraya bayıldım. Manastırın bu kısmında kendimi Rapunzel gibi hissediyorum.
Prensim gelse de saçlarımı uzatsam. Gerçi bu saçlarla bunu yapmam zor.
En iyisi konuma geri döneyim. 😃

After examining all the details of the monastery, we continue towards the Doyran pond. Signs along the way help us. We like to walk on a flat ground as we get tired on the way to the ancient city. But soon we will make a descent using the path again.
We have to be very careful on this path. We have to be careful while walking on this path with stones of various sizes. It is possible for us to sprain our ankles as a result of a little carelessness. We end the path carefully and with pleasure.

Manastırın da tüm detayları inceledikten sonra Doyran göletine doğru devam ediyoruz. Yol boyu levhalar bize yardım ediyor. Antik kente çıkarken yorulduğumuzdan düz bir zeminde ilerlemek hoşumuza gidiyor. Ama az sonra tekrar patikayı kullanarak bir iniş gerçekleştireceğiz.
Bu patika da çok dikkatli olmamız gerekiyor. İrili ufaklı taşların olduğu bu patikada yürürken dikkatli olmamız gerekiyor. Ufak bir dikkatsizlik sonucu bileğimizi burkmamız mümkün. Dikkatle ve keyifle patikayı sonlandırıyoruz.

We approach the Doyran pond and the crowd that used the weather as an opportunity.
I come across a couple who came here with a tent. As I said, there are many reasons to come here.

Doyran göleti’ne ve havayı fırsat bilip gelen kalabalığa yaklaşıyoruz.
Karşıma araç üstü çadır ile buraya gelmiş bir çift çıkıyor. Söylediğim gibi buraya gelmek için sebep çok.

We are on the shore of the Doyran pond. This exquisite pond, which we see from afar, is much more lively and impressive up close. We also enjoy spending time around this pond, which is the last stop of our exploration. And we are taking action for the return. We are walking towards the place where the shuttle vehicles we have arranged are waiting for us.

Doyran göletinin kıyısındayız. Uzaktan gördüğümüz bu enfes gölet yakından çok daha canlı ve etkileyici. Keşfimizin son durağı olan bu göletin çevresinde de keyifle vakit geçiriyoruz. Ve dönüş için harekete geçiyoruz. Gelirken ayarlamış olduğumuz servis araçlarının bizi beklediği yere doğru yürüyoruz.
