President House of India : Amrit Udyaan Festival

The rain has stopped and by now the sleep has vanished from my eyes too. This means that now we have to get ready and leave so that we can reach on time. Today I avoid buses and rickshaws because there is traffic jam due to rain and I don't want to waste my precious time in traffic jam.

I take metro to reach my friend. He says, since you have come to Delhi, let me take you to a great place. On asking, it came to light that these days ‘Amrit Udyan 2024’ is going on. Amrit Udyan is organized in the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Although Rashtrapati Bhavan is not open for the general public but this time it will remain open from 2 February to 31 March.

Taking advantage of the opportunity we also reach here. There are long queues, many people have come to see this garden. After reaching here, we come to know that entry to the garden is free but for entry we have to make online booking. By scanning the QR key on a banner present here with my mobile, I quickly book two tickets.

Since this is Rashtrapati Bhavan, security is very strict. There are guards everywhere and only police are visible. We undergo security check three times after which we are ready to enter the park. It is strictly prohibited to carry bags or food items inside. There are cloak rooms for storing bags as soon as you enter the gate. Baby care, first aid, missing booth center and rest rooms have been built here. We leave all these tents and move ahead.

As soon as we enter inside, we come to the former President 'Pranab Mukherjee Public Library', in which we do not enter and go straight out. After understanding the map present here, we start our walking journey to this park. The most important attraction here are tulip flowers. Let me tell you that the weather should be very cold to grow and care for the tulip flower. According to this, tulip flower is not at all suitable for a city like Delhi. So to make the tulips bloom in Delhi, the government put snow on the flowers so that they get sufficient temperature and the flowers can bloom. Today we have come to see these snow flowers.

I want to see the flowers after entering amidst the huge crowd but I am not able to reach the flowers because there is a lot of crowd. And even when I get a chance, I am not able to even go near the flowers because the flowers are covered with green fencing. And finally, when I get a chance, the guards present here are stopping me from clicking photos of flowers by blowing whistle again and again. But let me tell you that I am a bit stubborn and I do not want to return from here without clicking the photo of such a beautiful flower.
