A slice of liveliness in the afternoon market.

When the golden afternoon sun falls in the western sky, the market's appearance changes. The market seems to come back to life after the fatigue of the day. Today, on such a late afternoon, I went out to buy fresh vegetables for the house. This small area of the market is like an immense celebration of greenery. Fresh, poison-free vegetables are arranged in rows all around. The surroundings are bustling with the shouts of the sellers and the bargaining of the buyers.

The first thing I saw was a pile of raw papayas. The papayas are quite ripe and green. It seems as if they have just been plucked from the tree. Dark green pods are kept in a basket next to the papayas. Seeing these thorny pods makes my tongue water. It is very beneficial for health. After that, I saw small young papayas. The papayas are so fresh that drops of water still stick to them.

The vegetable basket contained young data vegetables. The data are quite long and fresh. These vegetables are very delicious when cooked with fried or hilsa fish. Small gourds are arranged next to the vegetables. The thin fish broth made with these gourds is incomparable with hot rice.

This liveliness of vegetables and the sincere treatment of the seller makes the mind feel good. These simple and beautiful moments are part of our lives. Giving ourselves some time away from the noisy environment of the market and buying fresh vegetables is like a small therapy. This freshness makes the mind feel refreshed after a whole day's work. On the way back home after buying vegetables from the market, I felt that this blessing of nature makes our life more colorful.
