EDITORIAL

We may be late with HiQ №28, but we are still stylish. Because even in such difficult times, when we are worried about topics (Editor's note: and writers), we have to remain consistent.

So also in this issue, fresh and uncut, our MVP of Hearts. Who is it? Just read on. There you will find out what "they" call him. He is definitely a worthy MVP.

Things are heating up again in the column. @quekery's blood pressure was raised by the diesel pools. Find out what made his blood boil in his unique column about APRs and brown pens that are already painting.

But we also went beyond our comfort zone when it came to the cover topics and shook the hottest shit out of our sleeves for you. (Editor's note: Practically shook. That was a lot of work. LOOL) On the one hand, we have for you the prequel to the (at least for us) long-awaited CraftInk story. It is entitled CraftInk - The Beninging and the first chapter can only be read here.

But something else has also secretly sprung up in one of our basements. The Hive Shop, where many are already happy about the fact that you can't pay with FIAT. You can read all about this wonderful project of the heart, where only one person worked on it independently (Editor's note: after all, you have to get something done on your own, right?) here.

Last but not least, our top-secret secret-weapons-reporter @solymi (Editor's note: You know. The weird guy who always does our @hiq.smartcast's. LOOL) agreed to write an Apps&Tools article for HiQ about LeoThreads. But it was so massive and comprehensive that it made it straight to the cover. A masterpiece of editorial art. Check it out.

But we've also got something great for our money-saving friends on Hive. The Saturday Savers Club, into whose elite circles our English proofreader @tengolotodo has gone and even written a detailed report about it. Directly in English. (Note from. @smooms: Great, then no one needs to deepl it in English anymore). So if you want to profit from his insider knowledge, just read on.

In this issue, @themyscira has also outdone herself and shed light on the Hive Book Club for us (but mainly for you). In @themyscira's Community Report, you can find out exclusively about the sweeter advantages of this stylish community.

But last but not least, the standard stuff should not be missing. In this issue, we have packed the sickest gossip and the most stylish hivestyle for you in the categories Gossip and Hivestyle for Hivians. The whole thing is then spiced up with a pinch of Readers' Letters and off we go to party. Ah and speaking of party...

Who wouldn't celebrate getting 1/4 HIQS at a super mega special price in the Commentary Discount Sale? For March, the first sale with a 40% discount on the current HIVE price of HIQS (Editor's note: 0.499 SWAP.HIVE). That means you can buy up to 270 HIQS for the price of 0.3 per HIQS. Just write

!HIQS HereYourDesiredAmount

in the comments. After 2 days, we will publish a post at @hiq.shares handling the sale.

PS: Vote HiQs Witness. Now. LOOL!

Peace out and have fun. ★

➀ HiQs MVP

What do you call him again? Whoa. Wait a minute. After the teaser, I'm sure it'll come back to us. Ah we got it. @theycallmedan. This rascal makes it to MVP this time.

This first-class Hivian has been on our radar for a long time. As co-founder of 3speak.tv, he's no stranger to Hive, and you get to hear a lot about him on Hive. In keeping with the topics of this issue, for example, at LeoThreads, where he is already diligently tweeting his threads. Or threading? Be that as it may. He's definitely already using it. We think that's great.

He is also currently building his own side chain with the SPK network. Ashes on our heads... our MVP editor is unfortunately not as deep in the subject as he should be. That's a pay cut and a week of bread and water. (Note from @smooms: Too bad. 0/2 is still 0. LOOL) If you want to read up on the topic, we have an article in issue №25, where we go into the details.

We can also attest to the involvement in Ragnarok from dead certain sources. Anyone who likes games is basically already sympathetic to us anyway. Hopefully we can also welcome him as player number 1 at CraftInk at some point. ★

➁ THE COLUMN

Join @quekery on his journey through stress level 27384-9000. Will he survive this stress level? Or will he destroy his work laptop in the process?

Does this happen to you? You want to do something important, like writing articles for the HiQ, and then a "catastrophe" happens that occupies you so much that you can no longer do your actually important task (Editor's note: writing articles for the HiQ ...)?

Sure, I'm no stranger to procrastination (Editor's note: and the rest of the gang, LOOL), but all the work on projects takes a lot out of me and my schedule is very tight. As Paul would say now, "Ultra busy!"

Be that as it may. At the weekend, I firmly resolved to start the core work on the HiQ. (Editor's note: A very early one...) After I had had my first half cup of Käffsch, the next routine came after a fluff - checking our Discord, our markets and our diesel pools. A look at our Swap Alert channel gave me the first "shock". Fortunately, I didn't manage to spread my generous sip of Käffsch over the laptop just yet. The reason? A big swap through the SWAP.HIVE:INK pool, in the unfavourable direction for us. "Ok, don't panic, first check the pool on your favourite pool site Beeswap."

But after what I saw it was almost heroic that I didn't unload a sip of Käffsch on my laptop. Our pool APR was down to 27.384% and the rewards were down to 79 dollars;. OMG, good thing I don't have a heart condition. Otherwise I don't think there would have ever been an article for the HiQ. "Maybe I don't have a clear view yet either due to morning ambiguity. Liquidity was much higher too, wasn't it? What's going on there?"

At stress level 27384, I first wrote to various people. Unfortunately, there were no responses. I was about to ask in the HE chat whether I had encountered a technical error. Then I did some calculations. How are the APR and the rewards from Beeswap calculated?

It's not the pool price, because otherwise the rewards would not have been 79 dollars, but almost 600 dollars. And it would be obvious to use the pool price on a pool front end...

In addition, if you swap your tokens, you also get rid of them for the pool price. (Editor's note: Apart from the 0.25 % fee and the slippage.) "Is it then the Hive Engine market price that Hive Engine, PeakD and Tribaldex also display in the wallet?" It wasn't that one either. Otherwise the rewards would have been worth almost 600 dollars; .... I was repeating myself. LOOL

The price displayed by the various HE wallets is also calculated by the last trades. That would be obvious if Beeswap took that. But in my opinion, the last trades are also worse than simply taking the ██████ pool price. Just because some trade was made doesn't mean there is market depth. It is also easy to manipulate the HE Wallet price. I have been a multimillionaire several times in my five-year hive career.

Yes, how does Beeswap do it now? It simply takes the current highest buy order. Without time reference. No average. No median. No whatever. I still can't believe it. And it's not like you can't manipulate this too. Make a token with no market depth, set a high buy order and add that token to a pool as a reward....

Well done ... ★

➂ COVER STORY

The never-ending YKWCWMillu was yesterday. But even in today's world, a story is needed. Are we from HiQ going to make Hivestory? Or will it be something like EHON again?

Soon the time will come. CraftInk will release the first booster packs. (Editor's note: For more details, please refer to the account @craftink.) But how did the HiQ team get involved in the crypto game business in the first place? Here is the beginning of the story: "CraftInk - The Beninging". That's about how it all happened, I guess. (Disclaimer: Characters that might in any way resemble existing Hivians are pure coincidence.)

Chapter 1

HiQuarters - Today

"Finally our own office!" said Mary as she inspected the individual workstations, to which Queker replied: "About time. That was really exhausting, managing all the staff via Discord. That was always a rollercoaster of emotions on the last Wednesday to actually bang out an issue." He threw his core team buddies Mary and smooms a satisfied grin. smooms had already chosen a workstation where he sat and wrote his article for the upcoming issue. A fan fiction, it seemed. "Have you guys picked a spot yet?" smooms shouted over to the other two. "I wanted to go to the basement first and clean out all the shit the previous owner left behind," Queker replied. The previous owner was a strange guy who used the warehouse that the HiQ core team now used as office space for random stuff. No one knew what was going on. The residents who lived in the houses around the building often claimed to have heard loud noises. The strange guy was scary to them, so they never bothered with him and nobody knew what he was doing.

"The three of us should go and see if there's any stuff we can use, and for the rest we'll send for a skip and get rid of it," said smooms. "If there's nice hardware, it's mine. LOOL" The three of them went to the basement. The building, which had a floor area of about 420 square metres, had another basement that size. It stretched through 13 rooms. One could easily stand, but the doors were too low to get through standing upright. All the doors seemed to be made of white painted metal. Except one. The three of them were particularly fond of that one. It was made of dark wood, almost like a portal to another world. It seemed almost out of place. The door frame was decorated with blotch patterns that were engraved into the wood. The three had to find out what was behind it. "I've got a crowbar here. For shizzle." smooms said, and before the others could guess what smooms was going to do with it, he was already jamming the crowbar into the door. He levered it about two and a half times and the door gave its first crack. The three were silent. But the silence was broken by the sound of drums that seemed to come through the small gap left by the crowbar between the door and the door frame. Mary felt queasy. "Should we really go in there?" she asked. Her question was justified, because Queker and smooms were also uneasy about it, but curiosity won out. smooms gave the crowbar another jerk and with a BLAM the door burst open.

The drumming stopped and the three looked into a room that seemed to be completely empty except for a medium-sized stone chest. The walls were scrawled with the same blotchy symbol as was engraved on the door frame, and in between they could make out some strange-looking writings. They were not in Unicode Transformation Format, however. The stone chest looked like a huge block of stone with a stone slab on top. Queker took a step towards the chest and said, "Mmmmh?! Let's try pushing this thing open." All three grabbed hold and tried to push the slab and thus open the chest. But as much as they put their weight into the slab.... No luck... It was like the slab was welded in place. The three now examined the slab more closely. Was there a locking mechanism that prevented the chest from being opened? Most certainly.

Even though the chest itself was a perfect cuboid, the lid was decorated. On it, almost 3 dimensional, was a picture. It showed something that looked almost like a ghost. It seemed to float, for it had neither feet nor legs, and under its hood it had no recognisable face but only a void. Above it, written in squiggly letters on a parchment, was the following word:

I̴͜͡Ņ̷̛Ķ̸̛u҈̢͒͡b҉̡̃̕u̴̧͡s҉̢̛̏

Relatively centrally, at the lower edge of the slab, there was an elevation where the blot symbol was again embedded in the stone. Although the rock chest was completely clean, there seemed to be a little dirt in this spot. Mary had to touch the dirty spot. She smeared the spot with her finger, bringing the contaminated finger closer to her eye to better analyse the dirt. "Hmmm. That's ink!" she stated proudly. Why was there ink on the chest? A blot symbol smeared with ink. "As if you had to pour ink on it to get it open..." Queker remarked. "This isn't a fantasy novel. This is real life." - "Let's do it anyway," smooms said. "I'd say we'll do it, too." Mary's statement was decisive at that moment. From above, the three of them fetched an ink cartridge, stabbed the ball to let the ink drip out of the cartridge onto the stone, to be precise, onto the blob symbol. Against all expectations, the chest began to shake. The shaking of the chest extended throughout the room in which the three were standing, dust swirled up and the stone slab, which had previously sat rock solid on the stone block, slowly swung open.

When the quake stopped and the three of them got up again, they looked towards the chest, then at each other. "Queker, you look inside AAAAAAH!" smooms gloated, because according to unwritten HiQ law he was now exempt from the duty of being the first to look inside the chest. "Let three of us go there. In case something will jump out at us. That's enough paranormal activity for me for one day." The three walked towards the chest. From a distance they saw 3 stone slabs with something engraved on them lying side by side in the chest. As they walked towards the slabs and when they were within reach they could make out the motifs on the slabs. Almost simultaneously, the colour drained from the faces of the three.

On the stone slabs, the three caught sight of images of themselves.

smooms was the first to speak: "What's going on here?" he asked the other two. "Somebody must be having a laugh." said Mary. "How did these slabs get here?" asked Queker. The drumming noise started again. But louder this time, as it was no longer muffled by the door. It was coming from the slabs themselves. As if spellbound, the three walked towards the slabs, hands outstretched. At the same time, their hands touched their respective stone slab portraits. Then only a feeling as if their minds were being separated from their bodies. And everything went black. ★

➃ COVER STORY

Where do you buy your Hive Merch? We'll tell you: In the future at hive-shop.io! Even we will squander our hard-earned HIVE there. We shit you not. LOOL

A week ago, the account @hive-shop dropped its first post and set the whole chain abuzz. Hive Shop is a print on demand dropshipping store where you can buy Hive merchandise exclusively with HIVE, HBD and SWAP.HIVE.

Who is behind it

After the print HiQs sold very poorly, @mary-me thought about how to increase sales. The plan was to make a small online shop where you can order the print HiQs with just a few clicks. The plan matured over a few weeks and the result was a fully-fledged Hive online shop.

Technical challenges

@mary-me worked on it almost around the clock for the last three weeks. With technical support from @smooms, a backup only had to be made once because @mary-me crashed the database when installing a plugin. Apparently the CMS doesn't get along so well with Privex, which led to small errors again and again. But now everything runs smoothly and the shop is finished.

Another unexpected challenge was setting up the SMTP mail server with its own domain. @mary-me really wanted to use Protonmail, but unfortunately Protonmail does not YET offer this service, which means that the order confirmations and all other automated mails are now sent from [email protected] (LOOL) and not from [email protected] as intended, which is a great pity. But as soon as Protonmail activates the service, this will also be implemented.

Payment

Setting up the payment system was easier than expected and is child's play with @hivepay-io. In the settings of the HivePay plugin, you enter the tokens you want to accept, the Hive username to which the payments should go, in this case @cashdesk, and that's it. In addition, it will also be possible to pay by manual token transfer in the future. It will then be checked manually whether the payment has been received and only then will the order be released and forwarded. There are no costs for the manual transfer, but with HivePay there are 0.5 % fees.

After clicking on "Place Order", a selection window opens. Select the desired token and confirm the payment via keychain.

Here you can see the transactions on the chain. @hivepay-io takes the payment, deducts 0.5% and sends the amount to @cashdesk.

(The amounts are different because the screenshots are from different test orders.)

Print HiQ Order

So how can you order one of the much sought-after print HiQs? It's very simple. Select the item, place it in your shopping cart, click on Checkout, enter your name and address and click on Place Order. (If you order more items, you will receive two separate shipments, as the print HiQ will be shipped directly from us.)

Cool, isn't it? So, if you don't have a Hive T-shirt yet or have always wanted a Hive mug, you should definitely keep an eye on the account @hive-shop. The grand opening ceremony is currently where you can get -10% off everything. There is also a competition where one lucky winner will get to choose a t-shirt of their choice and also get a voucher for -20% off their first order.

We are curious to see how the shop is received and whether there will be more posts where people present their newly acquired Hive Hoodie or the hivestylish HiQ mug. So check out hive-shop.io and browse the shelves. ★

➀ COVER STORY

Twitter is dead! Long live LeoThreads! Not so but almost as dramatically put by @theycallmedan: "Threads > Twitter". In other words, threads are more HIVESTYYYLE than tweets!

If you don't believe it, you can look at the bottom line for yourself. For those of you who have no idea what > and < are: Just imagine a crocodile that always likes to eat the bigger chunk of meat. (Note from @quekery: Very good, you even fulfilled our Math education mandate, LOOL.)

I wonder if this LeoThread will eventually be minted as NFT and go down in history? We'll see, and if it does, we'll report on how the new user interface feels. As we all know, that is different for every person. And as they say in Hungarian: only when you taste the pudding do you know how it tastes.

The new LeoThreads UI

When you visit the new User Interface, everything goes really quickly. Just don't click on Post right away! (Note from @quekery: This has never happened to me before ... [note from @mary-me: LOOL twice! hahaha])

Cat photo provided by @bradleyarrow #katzencontentziehtimmer

@quekery had a fun adventure when he "accidentally" mistook himself and thought the post would just create a thread.... Nope, he was mistaken there! (Note by @solymi: word vomit creation picked up somewhere in Vienna.) Definition of "believed": If a person thinks something, but this thought is fundamentally wrong, then this person has believed himself. That's clear, isn't it? Notice: Click on thread! Not on post! LOOL

The number of users has increased by 50% in just one week! The lions are also doing a really good job, constantly bringing new features like account switching, bug fixes and improved UI updates for publishing and the Explore page. Publishing brings us to a little anecdote about the new UI.

An anonymous hivestyler aka @solymi did the following: Clicked on post (with full intention) and then nicely wrote a detailed review about the new UI in 2 hours. Only he didn't know at the time that drafts aren't saved. But he had already made a post with the new UI the night before and had no problems at all. Clicked publish - the text had disappeared and he was looking at an empty editing window. Refresh... Nothing happened. He clicked on my profile.... NIX! Where is the post? He switched to PeakD in a panic and opened all posts on the profile. NIX... sigh He hasn't clicked on that stupid POST button since either. (Editor's note: I'm sure it will be fixed soon.)

The focus is on short-form content, isn't it? It's really coming off. The current numbers:

Source: LeoFinance Discord

OH MY F... GOSH (Token)

https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@acidyo/gosh-announcement-and-info-airdrop

For those who can't read, the username is @acidyo and we all know him as the creator of the POSH token. And now there is the GOSH token. Oh my GOSH!

GOSH is a new token for the threading initiative on Hive, similar to POSH. GOSH is intended to create more activity on Hive and can be used for other purposes in the future. The token is earned by sharing Hive front-end links on LeoThreads and can be paid out directly along with HIVE and LEO rewards. Many Hive posts were already shared on LeoThreads and received very positively by the community.

This is also more effective than spamming a post link on hundreds of Discord servers in the respective channels. (Editor's note: Except for us, LOOL.) In addition, hivestylish users can now also earn GOSH. You had POSH before? Then take a look at your hive engine wallet! An airdrop was carried out among all POSH holders. (Editor's note: We'll have to take a look right now, KOOKOO) Put your content on LeoThreads and you're sure to get a few more visitors.

PS: #DACH and #DEUTSCH are basically non-existent on LeoThreads and we would like to encourage our German-speaking community to do more there! The keyword is microearnings! Small mini-forms of rewards that everyone who posts on LeoThreads can earn.

When did you ever get a penny for your tweet on Twitter? Yep, exactly... The rewards aren't that great, but what LEO has arrived up there on the 3 LeoThreads isn't all. Let's take the last LeoThread: 1,078 LEO. If we then look at this on PeakD, we see:

Oops! So we see, other rewards are coming in too. That means you can advertise your posts on LeoThreads. Completely free of charge (except for RC. Yeah, smartass.), as often as you want and in the end you might even get something out of it. Still not convinced? Then maybe LeoThreads just isn't for you. Feel free to run into the arms of Elon and fight the Hive Shadowban on Twitter. (Note from. @solymi: Schwurbelsolymi thinks there's a connection somehow...) Feel free to share CraftInk's latest giveaway post on Twitter and earn some POSH. But that's it for the rewards for your good deed.

But why not deliver the full HIVESTYLE and share posts on LeoThreads, earn GOSH and then share the thread on Twitter and earn POSH too? POSH-GOSH-Knoff-Hoff! (Editor's note: Dude, full on token inception.)

Nothing is forbidden: You want to share cat photos? You want to promote your email marketing list? You just want to say #GMFRENS? Anything goes! Have you ever seen how much rubbish is floating around on Twitter? Memes, videos, pictures, buzz theories, bad publicity.... (Editor's note: And then there aren't even any rewards on Twitter for rambling...)

We can do that better on Hive ;) LeoThreads, with permission to post about anything, is a cool place where your threads don't just disappear. They are also sorted by newest threads. It's worth hitting refresh more often ;)

What's next?

Wallet integration and new login options are already in the works. A LeoInfra update is being made for this, after which new threaders should be able to simply log in with their Twitter account or their Metamask wallet. The new users will then be able to start immediately and click POST...

No, on THREADS of course. Then, if they want a hive account, they get the opportunity to create one. Various content filters and personal feeds are also in the works. Everyone can build their own little thread universe. Lists, polls and much much more are in the pipeline. (Editor's note: And scaling is also being worked on.)

Conclusion: Lots of cool shit will happen. FOMO? BULLISH? Let us know in the comments or just share your thoughts on LeoThreads! The tag #HiQ needs to be placed higher ;) ★

➅ COMMUNITY

We heard there was a club whose members got 667.95 HIVE on the 31st of December every year. Could this be true? We went to investigate on your behalf! What if we could get 667.95 HIQS too?

What would you say if we were to give you 667.95 HBD on the 31st December of 2023? You would laugh and not believe us, yes we know! LOOL However, did you know it is really easy to get your own 667.95 HBD or 667.95 of any FIAT/crypto currency just by following a very simple savings plan? This savings plan is the cornerstone behind the Saturday Savers Club.

Saturday Savers Club is for anyone who wants to save in any currency for any purpose. The Club is a supportive group of Hivians who meet up and chew the fat around the weekly post. This post usually comes out on a Saturday (it is a Saturday Savers Club afterall LOOL) but occasionally on a Sunday. This is so that savers can share tips and techniques with each other.

Members can also share and track and report their progress (should they so wish) and have some fun in the process, and potentially win some EDS tokens if they participate with proper comments and of course are picked as a winner. The club posts are handled by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver and posted on the @eddie-earner account.

The club has grown over time and it is incredibly simple to join. All you have to do is comment on the latest Saturday Savers post, for example this is the post from last Saturday. (Editor's note: We told you it was simple. LOOL)

Click that post link and you will see that there are currently 32 savers who have indicated a range of saving goals. Some are reaching for the moon with HP and LP goals and others are having saving goals of HIVE and HBD.

Saving is a skill that takes time and practice to acquire and, like learning any skill, doesn't always go the way you planned. Saturday Savers Club provides a framework that you can use to help you on your way, as well as tips and a process to provide or support the skills you need to design and manage your own savings plan.

Just as in life, we can expect setbacks and it is fellow club members who can help lift a saver up and get them back on the path to savings success!

The savings plan ~ How It Works

It's always good to have a framework or a target when you start saving and we're going to use the 365 Penny A Day Challenge. This starts nice and easy, so slow you don't even notice, just day 1, put aside one penny, day 2 put aside two pennies, until day 365 when you save 365p and you end up with 66 795 pennies or 667.95 USD or GBP (or HIVE or HBD).

You can do the 365 Day Challenge with any unit of currency - pennies, cents, hive, bitcoin - whatever you have lying around and you can easily get your hands on. You can keep physical pennies in a jar, or save them in an account, maybe a credit union account, or save digital pennies in your hive wallet..

There are numerous resources available to you, and this handy savings chart shows you how quickly these small savings all add up. Whilst you are not saving much in January you are rocking it in December, but by then the idea is that you have gained savings discipline and it is a doddle to complete and get the 667.95 of your chosen currency on the 31st December.

How do Savers Have Fun? WIth Golden Pigs and EDS of course!

Each week, everyone who comments on the weekly post will have the chance to win EDS tokens. EDS is a second-layer Hive Engine savings and income token. Each one costs 1 HIVE and pays a guaranteed 12% HIVE income every Monday. They are a great token for savers.

For some more background, EDS, @eddie-earner's income token, and EDSMs are part of the SPInvest family including SPI (@spinvest), LBI (@lbi-token), CUBLIFE (@lbi-token) and the @spinvest-leo account. SPInvest Family Motto: Get Rich Slowly. 🤑 New for this year, the Club has a channel in the SPI discord server!

Golden Pig Tips
Throughout the year, the Saturday Savers Club has a whole programme of challenges, tips and techniques for building your savings including token giveaways, no-buy months and side-hustles.

Why not check them out, and find out all the answers to your questions on this post. What a great way to start the new year if you followed the savings plan and woke up with 667.95 HBD then you would be rich! So don't forget to buy your favourite stylish magazine authors a coffee. LOOL ★

In this issue we have not explored the Fightclub but the Hive Book Club and take you into the exciting world of Hive reading. And this sentence is here to exceed the 3 rows in this teaser. LOOL

"Quiet please!" It's okay, we all know the quiet ambience in libraries. LOOL

As we crept through the corridors of the Hive Book Club, we came across a corridor where there was no one. (Note from @smooms: This must be the forbidden area of the library, we should definitely check there to see what there is to find!) This could only have come from smooms, who else would be so daring to look in the forbidden area and maybe even get caught. LOOL

Inspired by the bold idea of venturing into the basement of the forbidden section to sneak through the dusty, cobweb-covered section, we came across a large curved door at the end of the corridor. First we cleared ourselves of the cobwebs we had picked up along the way and dusted off our clothes. But then we set our sights on the door, which, as we first thought, was not locked, but could be opened with a jerk. And what we saw was beyond our imagination.

Blinded by the unexpected beam of light that hid behind the door, the gates of knowledge and publications of every hive user who had immortalised themselves in these halls opened here, for every book is a challenge and carries its own hidden science, which every consciousness recognises differently.

From historical periods, events and regions of antiquity to modern times, from the Roman Empire to novels put to paper with a lot of imagination, the hidden section of the Hive Book Club shone in all its glory with all kinds of literary works.

The versatility in the Hive Book Club not only gives book lovers the opportunity to post their own review of the book they have read, but also to showcase the authors' respective readings to give others a taste of the reading material.

Of course, we took the trouble to let our Technik Stoffi join the Hive Book Club, because even if she's not into technology, she is into books. LOOL

The highlight of her book presentation was the possibility of finding its place in the Waivio library and assigning it to the specialist literature of its kind. The account @bookguide took over this and notified the user who made it into this section. There is no longer anything with dusty shelves, but everything is clearly arranged and provided with a small biography of the book author, where the contribution that the respective user has written is also linked. Simply super, the effort that has been made here.

As always, we hope we can encourage you to take on a new Fomosapien project and dig out your literary works that are slumbering in your boxes and have valuable content to share in the Hive Book Club. ★

This issue of Gossip is full of riddles. Can you solve these riddles? Or will your heads smoke even more than on the highest difficulty level of Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training.

Who is Antiwine Bot
We can answer the question quite easily: "A bot that hates wine and everything to do with it. Especially wine bots. Down with wine and wine bots."

Well, that pretty much says it all. Or should we say "almost everything"? What exactly the mission of @antiwinebot is, we don't really know. For a while he was commenting with anti-wine jokes at a lot of people when they used !WINE, for example. Many comments are binary coded and contain WINE hate WINE jokes.

Shortly before the editorial deadline, however, we received a message from @antiwinebot.

Coincidence?

ValenTronsGate
In February, I'm sure many of you celebrated Off-Chain or On-Chain Valentine's Day. Did you know that the same day was also the 3rd anniversary of ValenTronsGate?

How to register at Hivewatchers
Have you always wanted to register with Hivewatchers? Yes? No? Maybe? We'll give you a How To anyway:

  1. Register here

Once you have successfully registered. (Editor's note: Thanks to our How To.) you will even get a stylish badge.

Wen Psyber Decks
@psyberx will not only bring a game to the Chain. Another prank will be Psyber Decks. You are probably asking yourselves now:

Wen Psyber Decks?

We can tell you. We spared no effort and poked around in our complex network of informants. The answer:

On 32022023.

But what could it be about this number? What kind of riddle are we dealing with here? Is it a hive block? Is it a leap year, as yet unknown to us, which will replace the Gregorian calendar with a psyber calendar? Is it a Timestamp with a CICADA-like clue? We don't know, but we won't sleep until we find out. Or will you make it before we do? ★

➈ HIVESTYLE

Another new month and another new issue of "HIVESTYYYLE for Hivians". News, tips and tricks guaranteed and only in every issue. And as always. This sentence is proudly presented by our 3 line layout for teasers. LOOL

LOLZ Update
Due to a market crash of LOLZ, @captaincryptic had to make some changes to LOLZ Farming. The reasons for the crash are not entirely clear. Besides the suspected arbitrage bot @mcbot, there were other players. In the latest post by LOLZ you can find the details of the changes.

Cartel DAO
The Cartel has also planned some innovations. They are starting with a new proposal system. If you want to create a proposal, simply use the tag #cartelproposal and burn 40 000 ONEUP. CARTEL stakeholders can then vote with their stake. (Editor's note: It's time for some CARTEL, then we can vote ourselves, LOOL) Currently there is no frontend for this yet. But this is already in the works. You can find more information in @flauwy's post.

PsyberX- Free2play
We recently gave away @psyberx Steam Keys. But now you can get some for free. All you have to do is go to the PsyberX Discord and you can easily get some. For more detailed information, PsyberX also has an instruction post ready for you.

CryptoCompany CEO - Free2Ask
On 24.02.2023, a @cryptocompany AMA will take place or took place. You are probably asking yourselves: "Who AMA?" and "Were AMA?". We can help you: at 03:00 pm UTC on the THGaming Discord the AMA will take place and there is even something to win. If you need more information (like a time zone converter), you can check out the announcement post. In case you don't have time or are reading this too late, we've heard from inside sources that there will also be a recording. So keep an eye on @cryptocompany's blog.

Steem Engine is back
After the fatal attack on Steem Engine, it is now possible to access it again. You can finally make withdrawals again to secure your riches. (Note from. @quekery: Finally I can withdraw my lost AFIT, LOOL) However, you cannot make deposits. But who wants to deposit assets with SE. The reason for this, by the way, is that SE is soon to be shut down.

BTC & EOS on Hive
You've always wanted a Tribe Token and Outpost that's all about BTC and EOS content? We have just the thing for you. The new Tribe Token is called THIA and also comes with its own Frontend. Besides the frontend, you can also farm THIA with the tags #thiagore, #bitcoin, #eos and #antelope. However, you will not get THIA if you tag #leofinance, #environnement and/or #nature. We don't know why these tags are excluded. (Editor's note: I'm sure #nature is banned because BTC miners don't respect nature, LOOL.) If you want more info, you could visit the Infopage of THIA. Or ask our Discord Bot. LOOL

For the number freaks among you, here are a few more numbers:

Currently there are 186 THIA Hodler with a stake of 186718.4597 THIA and 188 THIA Hodler holding 510089720.2824 THIA liquid in their wallet. In the SWAP.HIVE:THIA Diesel Pool there is a liquidity of 650.58447326 SWAP.HIVE and 18349.88844705 THIA. The Base Price is 28.20523575, the Quote Price is 0.03545441 and there are 5 Liquidity Providers

Ecency Points
You have no idea what ecency points are or how to use them correctly? Then the post by @melinda010100 will definitely help you out. She explains the intricacies of Ecency Points. Have fun gamemifying your Hive blogging experience.

Hive Meetup Vienna
You've always wanted to do a Meetup in a bar with the wonderful name Hive Bar. (Editor's note: And knock back a few BEER, LOOL.) Then @manncpt will surely be able to help you. As usual, the Meetup Vienna will take place in Vienna on 2 March. And everyone who wants to be there is cordially invited. In the announcement post you will find more information.

Even more Meetups
On 23.03.2023 the [Meetup Graz]((https://peakd.com/hive-121566/@reiseamateur/hive-meetup-in-graz--am-donnerstag-16februar-2023--meetup-info-febmarz-2023-d-ach-raum) will take place, hosted by our thoroughbred hivestyler @reiseamateur. Before the editorial deadline, there was no announcement post yet, but if you are already hot for this Meetup, then be sure to keep an eye on @reiseamateur's blog. .

Digital Meetups
And for those who prefer to stay within their own four walls or just can't get enough of Meetups, we can recommend two more digital Meetups. However, both Meetups are German-language Meetups. The first is @kvinna with Hive learn & more 🇩🇪 🇦🇹 🇨🇭 on 06.03.2023, followed by @blue.rabbit with the Engine Stammtisch on 20.03.2023. Here, too, we recommend interested parties to keep an eye on the respective blogs.

Charity
Here is also a small hint about the charity campaign by @kheldar1982. You can vote for what the donations should be used for. In the current post you can find more information.

PIMP your Pool
The PIMP Diesel Pool has a new reward contract. Reason enough for us to add some INK as well. So, if you're not in yet and are looking for a pool to refresh yourself - here's one for you. The APR also looks quite juicy.

Ragnarok
@theycallmedan has published a video of @ragnarok.game. There has been a playable version for a while, which is a mix of chess and poker. Yes, it's not just us who come up with crazy genre mixes. The game is to be developed and refined with the help of the community. We are excited to see where this project will go and will of course keep you posted. ★

Once again, the time has come and you have reached the end of the issue. As every time, we end a great issue with the readers' letters. But read it for yourself.

@ifarmgirl-leo the fluff farmer:

What an amazing edition! Thanks for the updates of the many things going on.

And there is more where that came from. Even if we sometimes struggle to find topics for the issue. (Editor's note: Rarely. Seeeeeevery rarely.)

@nane-qts is commenting without the help of ChatGPT:

Fantastic job as always guys!

Thanks as always gril!

@alex2alex the top hodler:

Thank you for a great edition!

Thank you for a good comment. LOOL

@coquicoin has selected the best Magazine to comment on:

Brilliant! And I can only say that you have selected the best MVP. @tengolotodo is an absolute superstar. Great issue!! 😍

The best MVP so far. Although Tengo is a cool dude just imagine we have @craftink as an MVP. We would say they definitely draw on being the best MVP. But you are right. We are very happy to have him as our proofreader and sometimes article writer. He is an enrichment to our team. He is awesome and we love him (Editor's note: #nohomo except @mary-me because she is female as fuck.) and he is always on our tengo lo todo list.

@l337m45732 is a true fren:

Another great issue! Thanks for the shoutout frens, much appreciated :D

I have a bit invested in the SWAP.HIVE:INK pool, and even after reading quekery's explanation, I still don't feel like I understand what happened. I guess someone with a huge portion of INK took their profits and ran?
