Mi mañana es la fuente divina de la espiritualidad del cosmos. Me despierto, procedo a efectuar mi aseo personal. En el jardín de mi hogar me asiento en sana paz a meditar. El aseo espiritual y material es integral. El plan del día es recibir una visita en mi casa de una exquisita mujer y asistir a la invitación de la Universidad Territorial del Estado Bolívar, Ambiente Cedeño al Foro Café: La poesía como herramienta de Transformación Social para celebrar el Día mundial de la Poesía. Estoy presto a cumplir con las suaves exigencias de este maravilloso día. La visita de mi amiga es fabulosa, ella trae un haz de luz positiva en sus encarnados ojos del sol. Recibo un sentimental y leve abrazo en mi corazón. Comparto una taza de café con mi amiga y nos retiramos de mi casa, cada quien por diferente camino. Ella se va hacia su casa, yo me voy a la Casa de la Cultura de Caicara del Orinoco. La temática que se propone abarca la creación lírica de Andrés Eloi Blanco, Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa y Aquiles Nazoa. Los bardos hombres que van a ser destacados en el pódium por personas de esta ciudad. Llevo un morral de textos de Miguel Otero Silva, Andrés Eloi Blanco, Pablo Neruda y Gustavo Pereira.

My morning is the divine source of the spirituality of the cosmos. I wake up, I proceed with my personal grooming. In the garden of my home I sit in healthy peace to meditate. Spiritual and material grooming is integral. The plan for the day is to receive a visit at my home from an exquisite woman and to attend the invitation of the Territorial University of Bolivar State, Cedeño Environment to the Coffee Forum: Poetry as a tool for Social Transformation to celebrate World Poetry Day. I am ready to meet the gentle demands of this wonderful day. My friend's visit is fabulous, she brings a beam of positive light in her incarnate eyes of the sun. I receive a sentimental and light embrace in my heart. I share a cup of coffee with my friend and we leave my house, each going our separate ways. She goes home, I go to the Casa de la Cultura de Caicara del Orinoco. The proposed theme covers the lyrical creation of Andrés Eloi Blanco, Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa and Aquiles Nazoa. The male bards will be highlighted on the podium by people from this city. I carry a backpack of texts by Miguel Otero Silva, Andrés Eloi Blanco, Pablo Neruda and Gustavo Pereira.

El espacio de usos múltiples tiene una concurrencia agradable, siento un sencillo y diáfano protocolo, las sillas están organizadas y ocupadas por jóvenes estudiantes de esta institución. Existe auditórium, me digo a mí mismo. Aquí está el espíritu universitario con el que se va a fomentar la sensibilidad por la lectura de la poesía. También, es menester, promover la historia de la literatura. Fallaron algunos ponentes. Se inicia el acto de la celebración del Día Mundial de la Poesía con la intervención de una mujer, la temática que le corresponde es a Aquiles Nazoa. La ponente hace una exposición del fecundo Aquiles, que me deja con la expectativa de para nutrirme de la abundante prodigiosidad de este luminoso humano.

The multi-purpose space is pleasantly crowded, I feel a simple and diaphanous protocol, the chairs are arranged and occupied by young students of this institution. There is an auditorium, I tell myself. Here is the university spirit with which the sensibility for the reading of poetry is going to be encouraged. It is also necessary to promote the history of literature. Some of the speakers failed. The ceremony for the celebration of World Poetry Day begins with the intervention of a woman, the theme of which corresponds to Aquiles Nazoa. The speaker makes an exposition of the fecund Aquiles, which leaves me with the expectation of being nourished by the abundant prodigiousness of this luminous human being.

Me otorgan el beneficio de intervenir, cargo con mis libros, para utilizarlos en provecho de abrir las ventanas del discernimiento, para poder levantar la calidad espiritual y lírica con la que provocaron radicales transformaciones sociales estos trascendentes poetas. Me presento como descendiente de mi abuela paterna, una indígena Pumé. Recurro a mencionar la obra literaria del maestro Prieto Figueroa, para gestar en mi intervención las prolíficas obras de los poetas, dramaturgos y escritores. Gustavo Pereira en su condición de prologuista del poemario Soy tu voz en el viento. Poesía reunida. El prologuista tiene su inteligencia innata, es un hombre curtido con los saberes espirituales del desarrollo de la historia de la humanidad. Expresó su admiración por la solicitud del maestro Prieto para saber si quería ser el prologuista. A quien le acepto ese honor. Pues, en este prólogo, consigo la abundante sabiduría del maestro prieto. Su poesía es canto de reflexión filosófica, educativa y de experiencias espirituales con la práctica de la tanka y los Haikus japoneses que se leen en sus poemas breves.

They give me the benefit of intervening, I carry my books, to use them for the benefit of opening the windows of discernment, to be able to raise the spiritual and lyrical quality with which these transcendent poets brought about radical social transformations. I introduce myself as a descendant of my paternal grandmother, an indigenous Pumé. I am mentioning the literary work of the master Prieto Figueroa, in order to bring to life in my intervention the prolific works of poets, playwrights and writers. Gustavo Pereira in his capacity as prologue of the book of poems Soy tu voz en el viento. Poesía reunida. The prologue writer has his innate intelligence, he is a man who has been seasoned with the spiritual knowledge of the development of the history of mankind. He expressed his admiration for Maestro Prieto's request to know if he wanted to be the prologue writer. To whom I accept this honour. For, in this prologue, I get the abundant wisdom of Master Prieto. His poetry is a song of philosophical reflection, education and spiritual experiences with the practice of tanka and the Japanese Haikus that are read in his short poems.

Evidentemente, expongo una controversia del maestro Prieto por el poema dedicado a Gustavo Pereira, Alumbramiento de Paraguachoa, es una pieza que muestra la verdad histórica y el arribo de la nación Caribe a la isla con el grito de guerra Ana karina roté. Solamente nosotros somos gente Esta exaltación de la memoria histórica es recogida del jesuita Gumilla en la mitad del siglo XVIII en visita por el Orinoco medio, en especial en la región de La Encaramada. Es un alarde delirante de altivez en la región ocupada por las diversas naciones indígenas. Amucó na' papororo itóto nantó. Todas las demás gentes son esclavos nuestros. Es la expresión con la que esta nación indígena americana recibe a la invasión europea, colonizadora, esclavizadora e inhumana con el carácter poderoso de la resistencia indígena. Colón la internalizó, la escuchó en Las Antillas, descalificando a las naciones indígenas con la estigmatización de salvajes Caribes y antropófagos con el propósito de avasallarlos y encadenarlos como esclavos.

Evidently, I expose a controversy of the master Prieto for the poem dedicated to Gustavo Pereira, Alumbramiento de Paraguachoa, is a piece that shows the historical truth and the arrival of the Caribbean nation to the island with the war cry Ana karina roté. This exaltation of historical memory was collected by the Jesuit Gumilla in the middle of the 18th century during a visit to the middle Orinoco, especially in the region of La Encaramada. Al final, el maestro Prieto propone la solución intermedia con el prologuista Gustavo Pereira. Esta es una situación de suspenso y emoción que se efectúa por la lectura de un poema que está sustentado en la dedicatoria del poeta para el prologuista. Para cerrar este momento leo de Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa el poema.

This slogan of resistance, the poet Pereira resizes it. We are real people. Na' na na kari' ña rotema. At the end, the master Prieto proposes the intermediate solution with the prologue writer Gustavo Pereira. This is a situation of suspense and emotion that is effected by the reading of a poem that is supported by the poet's dedication to the prologue writer. To close this moment I read Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa's poem.

Es una lectura que me ha sellado el alma durante una década después de releer este texto. Mi conciencia se descoloniza y rompe ataduras con la esclavizante desmemoria de mis ancestros indígenas.

It is a reading that has sealed my soul for a decade after rereading this text. My consciousness is decolonised and breaks ties with the enslaving dismemory of my indigenous ancestors.
