Estar aquí en la sala de arte del MUVA, encontrándome con el arte de Botero, es una experiencia trascendente que despierta en mí la necesidad de investigar y descubrir algunas novedades en las piezas expuestas. La bellísima sala, donde la luz natural penetra a través del vitral e ilumina el espacio, crea una atmósfera única para este acontecimiento en la ciudad de Valencia, Venezuela.
Being here in the MUVA art gallery, encountering Botero's art, is a transcendent experience that awakens in me the need to investigate and discover something new in the pieces on display. The beautiful gallery, where natural light penetrates through the stained glass window and illuminates the space, creates a unique atmosphere for this event in the city of Valencia, Venezuela.
La luz del vitral genera el sentido estético de la personalidad del maestro hispanoamericano, natural de la hermosa nación colombiana, transformando cualquier ambiente. Esta sala conmueve mi espíritu. Cada pieza está delineada y ubicada por la curaduría del museo, que integra al maestro Botero con su pasión artística, la arquitectura del edificio del MUVA y la magnética magia de las esculturas y la luz.
The light from the stained glass window generates the aesthetic sense of the personality of the Spanish-American master, a native of the beautiful nation of Colombia, transforming any environment. This room moves my spirit. Each piece is outlined and located by the museum's curators, who integrate the master Botero with his artistic passion, the architecture of the MUVA building, and the magnetic magic of the sculptures and light.
Obviamente, este es un momento que disfruto en mi ser interior al hacer contacto visual con cada pieza que posee una exquisita forma corporal voluminosa. Las expresiones de cada obra están cargadas de una fabulosa sensualidad que, al hacer contacto con mis ojos, despierta mi felicidad y me permite descubrir el serio humor que se muestra en cada una. Se debe tener absoluta tranquilidad para contemplar cada escultura, entender la belleza de cada obra y cómo dialoga con el espacio de la sala, mientras la luz define en cada pieza la maravillosa comunicación espiritual del maestro Botero.
Obviously, this is a moment that I enjoy in my inner being as I make eye contact with each piece, which has an exquisite voluminous body shape. The expressions of each work are charged with a fabulous sensuality that, upon making contact with my eyes, awakens my happiness and allows me to discover the serious humour shown in each one. One must be completely calm to contemplate each sculpture, understand the beauty of each work and how it dialogues with the space of the room, while the light defines in each piece the wonderful spiritual communication of the master Botero.
Entre todas las piezas, el recibimiento magistral del gato es la inédita manifestación de que la delicadeza es la forma para convivir en paz con la familia y con la comunidad. Este edificio del MUVA me mantiene cautivado desde hace décadas. Encontrar el Boterismo con la fiel identidad de su creador alimenta mi ser y renueva mi felicidad.
Among all the pieces, the masterful reception of the cat is an unprecedented manifestation that delicacy is the way to live in peace with family and community. This MUVA building has captivated me for decades. Finding Botero's style with the faithful identity of its creator nourishes my being and renews my happiness.
