The Value of Effort: A Reflection on Hive and Beyond

Hello Hive Learners,

In our lives, we've all had instances where we've put forth an enormous amount of effort toward achieving a particular goal. Sometimes, the reward at the end of the journey has been worth the effort, and at other times, it's left us questioning, "Was it really worth it?"

Let's turn our gaze towards our own community here on Hive. The familiar sight of members, including myself, pouring their hearts and souls into posts and updates, often triggers a pertinent question. What if your post does not garner the upvotes you were hoping for? Is your effort in vain? The answer is an emphatic "No."

It is a reality that we sometimes equate our efforts to tangible returns. It's a common tendency, especially when we're trying to make a living. But when we look at Hive, we need to see beyond the immediate returns. The beauty of Hive lies in the fact that it gives us ownership - something that's increasingly rare in the digital world today.

Consider for a moment the unnerving revelations from the Netflix documentary "The Social Dilemma". We don't own most of the things in this world, including our personal data. But here's a silver lining - every post you make on Hive is yours forever. Yes, it remains in the digital realm for as long as the internet exists. Now, isn't that something worth cherishing?

The true essence of Hive lies in its decentralized nature and its immutability. Every effort you put into Hive, regardless of its immediate monetary value, is etched onto this revolutionary blockchain ledger. Be aware, though, that not all platforms claiming decentralization truly embody it. A blockchain that's centralized is a contradiction in itself - it's merely a traditional company donning a modern cloak.

Now, why am I sharing these insights with you? It's because I want to inspire each of you to view your efforts in a new light. Hive is not just about upvotes or monetary returns. It's about the value you create, the ownership you hold, and the legacy you leave behind.

What's my call to action for you? Keep posting on Hive. Be an integral part of this community. Care for your fellow Hive members. Remember, every effort you put in here is worth something. It is recorded on the largest decentralized blockchain ledger that you can claim as your own. Unlike Facebook, Twitter, or Reddit, here you are not just a user - you are an owner.

Let's make our efforts count, not just by the immediate returns they fetch, but by the long-lasting impact they create. Let's keep learning, growing, and owning our space on Hive.

Warm regards and keep accumulating Hive to be able to help others as well

I discovered Hive back in 2017 when I was doing my research. My goal on Hive is I want to use the stake power up to be able to help the community. I prayed to God to help me to be able to become a cheerful giver to anyone who is lacking like food, medicine, and livelihood. Hope you can follow my journey

That was a lovely content, hive has been the best platform to be even when you have to create a content to share, thou sometimes it seems bad when you expect to get upvote but could not a get to the level you expected. Thou hive is not about the upvote was alone, but seems like a platform that helps in developing our ideas and our learning ability, so if you don't get what you expected, you should not see it as failure. it just the beginning of success, because of every single move in hive worth something.

Yes, I don't expect upvotes, I treat it as a bonus

As at the time I joined Hive every little upvote I had discouraged me from writing, as I look at what I got from hours of writing and brainstorming I always hiss and hiss and that made me not to write for days but overtime I started seeing the beautiful part of Hive and the narrative changed.

Dear @hiro-hive thank you so much for sharing this, once in a while we need things like this to keep us on course😃

I'm so glad my reflections resonated with you. It's truly remarkable how our perspective of Hive evolves over time, isn't it?

I think hive sire has a lot to offer the world at large and anyone ready to persevere without looking at the monetary gain would thank themselves for never giving up.

There are a lot of biases out there about what's real and fake. Hive sure can solve that problem thru the organic way of engaging and reviewing every piece of information that we may not be able to post or talk about on other platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube and even a blockchain platform like 3teemit.

Thanks for sharing this piece it will help new people to understand more about the hive ecosystem which is built by the community and for the community.
