Almost every religion or sect are teaching about giving tithes but if we based it in the bible, tithing is not a doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ. In II Corinthians 9:7, we are taught to give as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give, we are not force by anyone to give or there is no fix price.

So if your pastor is telling you to give tithes, please do not be deceive because it is not a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ.
