Vitalik Buterin Talks About Censorship On The Merge

Ethereum is moving to proof of stake (POS), which will give the smart chain more relevance in crypto space. The question now is after the merge what happens next will censorship, in an interview with Coinbase chief executive officer as regards this topic the etherum developer says that;

“Obviously, I’m fully supportive of people’s need to comply with the regulators in whatever jurisdiction that they’re in. But if in whatever jurisdiction you’re in it happens to be impossible to simultaneously do that and be a good citizen of the Ethereum network then the honorable thing to do is to shut down.

But I think also it’s a very correct comment from a purely legal standpoint that, as far as I can tell, we are very far away from that point.”

With the merge etherum will be on major big exchanges which enable staking options saying that complying to authorities and censorship is the best thing to do rather than opting out.

Buterin buttressing on the community involvement in keeping the censorship.
