The Keywords That Brings Most Organic Traffic To LeoFinance.io (Week #4)

top10keywords.png

The statistics within this post is taken from Semrush, and as I happen to get a weekly report that is called: Organic Research: Positions, and as I am in favor of the whole optimized content thing, I figured I'd let you in on some juicy details.

This report contains:

  • Organic Search: Positions 1-10
  • Volume
  • Costs %
  • Traffic %

Amongst some other things, but these are the ones I think is the most important. At least for now. I can also tell you that the Traffic cost has been an estimated price of $446 (up $289 from last week) for organic keywords in Google AdWords, and four of the top 10 keywords have used CPC.

I have added costs % in this report so we get more accurate details. As I include the estimated price for paid traffic, I might as well include where the paid traffic goes. I am not sure, but my best guess is that @khaleelkazi is using Google Adwords in an attempt to point traffic towards certain posts on LeoFinance.

These are the 10 keywords that brings most traffic to LeoFinance.io, and each keyword point directly towards the article on LeoFinance as well. Feel free to take a look.

As we happen to have more and more people interested in SEO (search engine optimization), I might continue to publish this on a weekly basis.

Reports from previous weeks can be found here:

I can also tell you that 727 keywords (513 previous week) is the number of keywords bringing users to the website via Google's top 100 organic search results.

  • Do people believe in organic traffic now?

A very impressive jump in a week.

We will likely pass 1,000 the next couple of weeks. It is exciting. The long tail of web traffic.

It's actually pretty crazy that we rank for 200+ more keywords in just a single week.. But it's awesome!

Is that what that chart means? It is all the separate keywords that sent traffic over a week?

Is there a way to see how many visitors there were in total from the key word searches?

Yeah, the chart shows the number of users expected to visit the website in the following month on condition that average monthly organic traffic stays relatively the same.

Not from the stats I get from these specific reports, but it shouldn't be impossible.

The bottom line is we are seeing progress.

Khal said on the last AMA that the next update to Leofinance.io should speed the site up dramatically which should help with search engine ranking.

We have 2.3k page views from google the last week according to simpleanalytics. Those are obviously not unique users, but we are definitely seeing some good progress over these few weeks.

That is awesome to know. We are making headway. The more key words, the better the chance of getting some to feed more people in.

I think if we pool our efforts by using information from articles like this and ReTweet on Twitter, we can increase the traffic to our site! Consistency and a guided plan of action will win.

It's actually impressive to see how 200+ new keywords have started to drive traffic to LeoFinance since last week.. We're off to a really, really good start so far. Organic traffic will take us to new heights for sure.

Twitter can bring in HUGE bursts of traffic, but not ongoing traffic once that Tweet slips down the timeline.

SEO on the other hand, brings in consistent, ongoing traffic as old content continues to rank higher on Google.

Hmmm
This is good to know.
I see old articles on the SEO list continue to rank high.

Something else you should track is the position of our best performing pages.

I can see that the Andre Jikh portfolio blog that was teetering on slipping down to page 2, is now solidified on page 1 and up to P5 (do a search on incognito).

We want to keep encouraging people who create related blog posts to always link back to the original that already ranks.

For example, this Andrei Jikh crypto portfolio blog is designed purely to expand on and push the original to a higher Google ranking.

That's a very good point. I obviously know- and want this as well, but I figured people would understand that by themselves or other posts. I should probably include a message about that within these reports as well though. I'll do that next time. Until then, we'll just have to continue to spread the awareness. :)

Let's just make what we're trying to get authors to do crystal clear.

  1. Pick one of those top 10 posts that already rank.
  2. Create a supporting post on the same topic.
  3. Link to the original post under relevant anchor text.

This will help Google see the post that already ranks as an authority on the topic.

Yeah, it's a good idea for anyone having a hard time to figure out things to write about too. So it's literally a win/win situation for everyone.
