Omo, that's how the bus zoomed off oh and left me to my fate when I eventually arrived at school, I was flogged with six strokes of the cane for coming very late, well I was happy I made Mama proud, at least I wouldn't get pregnant, I kept believing that shit until I got to S.S.S.1

Funny, how my mates were lying to their parents about the increase in school fees, doubling every amount we were asked to pay in school and I was there looking for ways to reduce the money so my dad doesn’t panic or have a heart attack, I was able to foot some of my bills due to the little money I had in my savings but it still wasn’t enough.

I saw folks who I looked up to before, some of my classmates who were spending- and I mean spending in school canteens, now with their parents backing being cut off, were in the same ground zero with me😂
