POSITIVE THOUGHTS, POSITIVE RESULTS

Positive thinking is a process of approaching worse or negative situations with a positive outlook. Positive thinking is not all about you totally forgetting everything that happens to you. You can forget everything if someone says that you should forgive and forget. Most of that information is stored in our memories and our memories are not like computers in which you can delete any information we no longer need permanently.
Therefore, positive thinking cannot solve all your problems or make all your problems disappear. It makes our situations manageable and helps us to approach hard times in a positive way; and have a strong belief that you will overcome your situation. That is what positive thinking does.

After I was rusticated from school because my admission was tagged ‘fake’. When I got admission back, I began to look at every situation in a positive way.
Back to school then, I had friends who were very attached to me. Every one of us had a challenge we all battled with including me. Some of us had family problems, academic problems, financial problems, rejection, disappointment and many more.

One of my friends that told me about his problems was Wale. His results were very poor, and he saw my results and was very amazed. That was the day I saw him crying. I asked him, wale, what happened?
He said, “seriously we have been working together for a year now, we don't know the problem everyone of us are facing. My result for the 100 level first and second semester is 1.5 CGPA. I can't continue like this; I'm tired”.
I calmed him down, I told him of a story of my brother as at Junior Secondary School 3 (grade 9) he couldn't read. But by the time he was in Senior secondary school 3 (grade 12) he became the best student.
He asked him “how did he do it?”
I told him he became addicted to books. He was ready for hours at home.
He said, “I have a problem assimilating things; I can't grasp things at one stance”.
Then you need to start reading at the beginning of the semester.
That was how he started and he made it to second class upper.
That was just about him. I have many of my friends I have helped in their careers, academic goals and more.

Being a student can be tiresome and worrisome. When I was in year one, I had to be in school before 7:00 am. 7: 05 am, the lecture would not allow students to enter the classroom. It wasn't easy for me then because I had a 7: 00 am lecture 4 times a week.
Punctuality was the order of the day for some of my lectures.
I was also pissed off at times; I had a lecturer who would come to class and narrate all his history and his family for an hour before lecture.
No one could dare to move out of the class; a student that did that failed.
Most times I come back home at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. This was because some lectures were not in the school; and lectured in other universities.

Today, I have a better understanding of punctuality. I'm very punctual in my office and some of the programs I attended. I woke up as early as 4:30, preparing to go to the office, seminar and other big events.
Last year, I was given an award for the best teacher of the year.
When the principal was addressing me, he said, “Mr Chris is the first teacher to sign the school time book in the morning”.
That was what I captured in his statement.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness. Success comes to the people who are desperately and consciously searching for it. When it seems unsuccessful or you smell failure around you, never discourage yourself from being successful.
