WHY DO I USE RADIATED BRUTE IN THIS BATTLE?

Good day friends and splinterlands lovers, how are you feeling right now? For 5 days, I did not write any posts due to my examination.
We are to use radiated brute to battle and share our experience. Radiated brute is a common fire monster with reach ability. This reach ability makes it possible for radiated brute to be effective in the second position. This is the natural position for radiated brute in battles. Using it in other positions rather than second position may lead to being inactive in battle except for exceptional rules that allow melee monsters to attack in any position.

Radiated brute is one of the monsters in splinterlands I don't like to use in battles: it is because I have so many reach ability monsters with good melee, high speed and long life. This monster is very slow to attack and that was also my reason for not using it in battles.
Though such a monster is very good at reverse speed.
Another problem I had with this monster is that 5 mana is too much for it. I would rather use fineas rage than to use radiated brute. Fineas rage has high speed, long life and good melee with just 7 mana.

WHY DO I USE RADIATED BRUTE IN THIS BATTLE?
Well! When I saw a weekly battle challenge in @splinterlands blog, this reminded me to use radiated brute in battle.
I love writing posts about splinterlands, because I get money to buy cards and also to do other things.

RULESET

Up Close & Personal: Only monsters with melee attack may be used in battles.
When I saw this battle rule, I knew it was a great opportunity for me to use radiated brute because magic monsters and range monsters could not be among monsters to use.

ARRANGEMENT
cerberus.png
Cerberus: Cerberus is a very unique monster with its healing ability. This was the major reason I used it as the first monster.
The speed also gave me assurance that Cerberus would be the first or second monster to attack: this was my idea to make sure Cerberus attacks faster. Then brought in creepy ooze to reduce the speed of opponent monsters.
My strategy worked out perfectly because Cerberus was the first monster to attack and eliminate.

radiated_brute.png
Radiated Brute: There was no better position than second position for radiated brute in this battle. Using radiated brute in other positions rendered it useless; it wouldn’t be able to attack.
Hence, the best position for this monster is the second position.

serpentine_spy.png
Serpentine Spy: the opportunity ability made this monster attack opponent monsters with lowest health. That was what happened in this battle: my serpentine destroyed the opponent's serpentine spy with the advantage of high speed.
I knew that there would be sneaky and opportunity monsters in this battle since magic and range monsters were not allowed: most of these monsters have lower health and that was the reason for selecting a serpentine spy to destroy them.

tentii_striker.png
Tenyii Striker: one of the best fire sneaky monsters i like. Health is ok and speed is awesome.
Tenyii striker was very important and that was the reason I placed it in the fourth position to hide it against a snaky monster. By the time sneaky monster attack furious chicken and creepy ooze, tenyii striker would have done damage to opponent monsters from behind.

creepy_ooze.png
Creepy Ooze: reducing the speed of opponent monsters is very important for me in this battle. It was a big advantage for my monsters to attack faster than my opponent. Therefore, bringing creepy ooze was very crucial to my winning: if you watch this battle, you will realize that it was creepy ooze that gave my monsters an opportunity to eliminate opponent monsters.

furious_chicken.png
Furious Chicken: when i was strategizing about the monsters to use: i am well sure that a sneaky monster would be used because magic and range would not be used.
Since furious chicken would not cost me anything, I had one pot to fill in. Then, I used a furious chicken to take the first attack from behind for me in this battle.
