Ein Tag der ein Leben verändert

Johannes Hablik ist Leistungsturner. Mit 22 bereits zweifacher deutscher Meister im Deutschen Mehrkampf, einer Mischung aus Geräteturnen und Leichtathletik.

Am 03.11.2002 verunglückt Johannes schwer. Bei einem anderthalbfachen Salto vorwärts schlägt er mit dem Kopf zuerst auf und verletzt sich dabei am vierten Halswirbel schwer.

Seit dem ist er gelähmt, kann nur den Kopf bewegen.

Da Johannes zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch Student war, war er nicht rentenversichert. Die medizinische Basisversorgung ist gesichert, aber er hat kein eigenes Einkommen und damit auch wenig Hoffnung auf eine hochwertige medizinische Versorgung., oder gar Rehabilitation.

A day that changes a life

Johannes Hablik is a competitive gymnast. At the age of 22, he was already twice German champion in the German all-around competition, a mixture of apparatus gymnastics and athletics.

On 3 November 2002, Johannes has a serious accident. During a one-and-a-half somersault forwards, he hit his head first and severely injured his fourth cervical vertebra.

Since then he has been paralysed and can only move his head.

As Johannes was still a student at the time, he was not covered by pension insurance. Basic medical care is assured, but he has no income of his own and therefore has little hope of receiving high-quality medical care or even rehabilitation.

Ein Verein nur für ihn

Die ersten Wochen und Monate sind sehr hart für Johannes. Mehrere Operationen sind notwendig.

Um zumindest seine finanziellen Sorgen zu lindern, gründen seine Vereinskollegen und Freunde, den Verein "Zukunft für Johannes Hablik e.V.".

Dieser unterstützt ihn vor allen in medizinischen Belangen, hat aber auch das Ziel einen Fonds aufzubauen, um Johannes lebenslang unterstützen zu können.

A club just for him

The first weeks and months are very hard for Johannes. Several operations are necessary.

To at least alleviate his financial worries, his fellow club members and friends set up the "Zukunft für Johannes Hablik e.V." association.

This organisation supports him primarily in medical matters, but also aims to set up a fund to be able to support Johannes for the rest of his life.

Höhere Kosten - weniger Spenden

Nach nun 20 Jahren benötigt Johannes einen neuen Rollstuhl. Die Krankenkasse zahlt diesen nicht voll, und für den Verein ist es ebenfalls eine große Anschaffung.

Vor allem, da die Spendenbereitschaft während Corona zurückgegangen ist.

Daher geht die @hive.helps Spende im März in Höhe von 100 € an den "Zukunft für Johannes Hablik e.V.".

Ich hoffe, damit zumindest einen kleinen Beitrag leisten zu können.

Wenn auch ihr Johannes helfen wollt, könnt ihr dies über das Spendenkonto tun. Noch besser ist es Mitglied zu werden.

Higher costs - fewer donations

After 20 years, Johannes needs a new wheelchair. His health insurance does not pay for it in full, and it is also a major purchase for the organisation.

Especially as the willingness to donate has declined during the pandemic.

That's why the @hive.helps donation of €100 in March will go to "Zukunft für Johannes Hablik e.V.".
