Ich wurde von @kheldar1982 gegründet, um die Welt ein kleines bisschen besser zu machen.
Über mich sollen Spenden an gemeinnützige Vereine und Organisationen finanziert werden.
Dafür soll ich HBD einsammeln, die im Savingskonto Zinsen erwirtschaften.
Dieser Artikel beschreibt die Idee und wie ihr helfen könnt, wenn ihr das möchtet. 😊

I was founded by @kheldar1982 to make the world a little bit better.
My task is to finance Donations to charitable associations and organisations.
This shall be done by collecting HBD, which generates interest in the savings.
This article describes the idea and how you can help if you want to. 😊
Warum Hive Helps?
Als Aufsichtsrat erhält @kheldar1982 jedes Jahr Tantiemen für seine Arbeit.
Weil er über eine Gewerkschaft in den Aufsichtsrat gewählt wurde, muss er einen großen Teil davon an bestimmte Organisationen abführen.
Von dem was übrig bleibt, unterstützt er derzeit Vereine und Organisationen, die aus seiner Sicht die Welt besser machen.
In ein paar Jahren, wird er jedoch kein Aufsichtsrat mehr sein und damit keine Mittel mehr erhalten, um diese Spenden fortsetzen zu können.
Daher soll nun ein gewisser Teil der Tantiemen in HBD angelegt werden, um langfristig Vereine und Organisationen unterstützen zu können.
Optimalerweise können diese Spenden mittelfristig sogar als ein Aushängeschild der Hive Community dienen. Deshalb heißt der Account auch nicht „Kheldars.Charity“ sondern @hive.helps.
Damit ihr ein Gefühl dafür bekommt, an welche Organisationen bisher gespendet wurde, lade ich ein paar Logos hoch. Alle Spenden können über die Posts von @kheldar1982 über die letzten beiden Jahre nachverfolgt werden.
Why Hive Helps?
As a Supervisory Board member, @kheldar1982 receives royalties for his work every year.
Because he was elected to the Supervisory Board via a trade union, he has to pay a large part of this to certain organisations.
From what is left over, he currently supports associations and organisations that he believes make the world a better place.
In a few years' time, however, he will no longer be a member of the Supervisory Board and will therefore no longer receive any funds to continue these donations.
Therefore, a certain portion of the royalties will now be invested in HBD in order to be able to support associations and organisations in the long term.
Ideally, these donations can even serve as a figurehead for the Hive community in the medium term. This is why the account is not called "Kheldars.Charity" but @hive.helps.
To give you a sense of which organisations have been donated to so far, I'm uploading a few logos. All donations can be tracked via @kheldar1982's posts over the last two years.
Wie funktioniert Hive.helps?
Bisher wurden jeden Monat über die Aktion „Du suchst aus – ich spende“ insgesamt 250 € an zwei Organisationen gespendet, die von der Community ausgewählt wurden. Insgesamt also 3.000 € pro Jahr.
Belässt man den USD/EUR Wechselkurs außen vor, benötigen wir bei 20 % Zinsen ca. 15.000 HBD in den Savings, um diese Spenden dauerhaft sicherzustellen.
Die erste Einzahlung über 1.000 HBD hat Kheldar bereits vorgenommen. Diese liegen auch bereits in den Savings und generieren erste Zinsen. Mit den ca. 200 $ Zinsen pro Jahr können jedoch noch keine großen Sprünge gemacht werden.
Fürs erste werden die Spende auf 100 € pro Monat reduziert. Sobald die Zinsen aus den HBD 100 € pro Monat übersteigen, wird die Zahlung wieder erhöht.
Gleichzeitig werden weitere Einzahlungen erfolgen, wenn die Tantiemenzahlungen erfolgen. Auf diese Weise sollten die 15.000 HBD in ca. 4-5 Jahre angespart sein.
Darüber hinaus wird es Posts zu allen Spenden und einmal pro Monat zum Kontostand geben. Die Rewards dieser Posts wandern in die Savings. Hive werden in HBD gewandelt und gespart.
@hive.helps macht bewusst keine Gewinnspiele. Es geht nicht darum, etwas zu gewinnen, sondern der Allgemeinheit zu helfen.
How does Hive.helps work?
So far, a total of €250 has been donated every month to two organisations selected by the community via the "You choose - I donate" campaign. That's a total of €3,000 per year.
Leaving aside the USD/EUR exchange rate, at 20% interest we need around 15,000 HBD in savings to secure these donations in the long term.
Kheldar has already made the first deposit of 1,000 HBD. These are also already in the savings and are generating initial interest. However, with the approx. 200 $ interest per year, no great leaps can yet be made.
For the time being, the donation will be reduced to €100 per month. As soon as the interest from the HBD exceeds €100 per month, the payment will be increased again.
At the same time, further transfers will be made when the royalty payments are made. In this way, the 15,000 HBD should be saved up in approx. 4-5 years.
In addition, there will be posts on all donations and once a month on the account balance. The rewards from these posts will go into the Savings. Hive will be converted into HBD and saved.
@hive.helps deliberately does not organise competitions. It's not about winning something, but about helping the community.

Es wird genau festgehalten, wenn HBD oder Hive gesendet werden. Sollte das Projekt wieder erwarten nicht fortgeführt, werden alle Spenden zurücküberwiesen.
Derzeit können leider keine Spendenbescheinigungen ausgestellt werden. Es wird gerade geprüft, ab wann es sich lohnen würde eine gemeinnützige GmbH zu gründen, um eine höhere Verbindlichkeit und steuerliche Vorteile zu erzeugen.

It will be recorded exactly when HBD or Hive are sent. If the project is discontinued, all donations will be returned.
Unfortunately, donation receipts cannot be issued at present. We are currently examining when it would be worthwhile to establish a non-profit limited company in order to create a higher liability and tax advantages.

Ich wollte diese Woche mindestens 200.000 Sats in HBD tauschen, vorausgesetzt, das der BTC nicht unter 40.000 USD fällt. Deshalb werde ich das auf 5 Tage aufteilen und rechne so mit mindestens 18 HBD pro Tag. Von diesen 18 HBD werde ich bis Freitag 10 HBD an @hive.helps senden. Da sollten dann bis Freitag 50 HBD dazukommen.

@kheldar1982 -- I do not know how aware you are of the argument on Hive among witnesses now about whether Hive should continue to pay 20 percent interest on HBD, but you may wish to participate in Hive's governance on this subject. Every Hive account can vote for 30 witnesses, and what each witness wants HBD to pay in interest is listed on the witnesses page. The top twenty witnesses are the ones who can make direct changes to the interest rate, and right now the split on this subject is 11 witnesses for 20 percent HBD, and 9 witnesses against. It is very important that Hive account holders who are in favor of the HBD rate remaining at 20 percent vote for witnesses that support that, especially in the top 20 witnesses.

Dear @deeanndmathews Thank you for contacting me on this purpose. I really appreciated, that you take your time, even though my HP are for sure not the important point in this "battle".
To be honest I am split on this matter. I am of the oppinion, that 20 % HBD interest rate is not sustainable. Therefore sooner or later such a high interest rate, may lead to severe problems for the complete Hive Ecosystem. Its already now to be seen.
On the other hand, I am going to profit for this project as long as it is possible. Currently I will stay out of this discussion but will follow it closely.
I think the community is split on the subject, actually ... awareness of how we convey whatever we wish to see done is my goal in getting the word out, and since you have an HBD project, I thought you especially should know!
