Anyone Can Be Depressed, But Can Be Controlled
Depression is one silent killer that everyone should fight against, it does not just happen in a day....it cools up gradually from one feeling of rejection and loneliness to another and before you come to realize, the fellow is deep in it being lost to any action that the mind brings up.
Happy New Week friends, yeah....this is the last week in the month of March and we are heading over to celebrate Easter celebration, the period we get to remember the death of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. So happy holy week it everyone who celebrates Easter.
Early this year I was discussing with my husband and I told him that I don't know why I have only but a few friends. It was a very bad feeling for me, I was like, everyone that claim to be a friend comes around me when they are in a dare need and once their needs are met I don t get to see them again. Through the night it was a serious meditation for me. Lastly I just had to console myself with the conclusion that most people that work online are so lonely because they get to me in door most of the time to avoid distractions from different quarter...yeah I actually overcame. See, I I had continue that way I would have been so depressed and frustrated. Leaving a feeling of rejection and loneliness for a long time transcends to depression.
There is this single brother who allowed depression to have the best of him. One day came and he thought to himself that God does not exist. How it all got to this point looks so insignificant but it worth a lot to him. According to him, as he graduated from school he was left with no job. Shortly, he was enrolled into Npower that ended after one year then he began staying at home then was receiving assistance from the sister. Not too long the sister who got married and after many years did have a baby now conceived , it came to the point of delivery she died. All these made the brother to conclude that God does not exist. He began to make research to find a group of people who have similar believe with him, not too long he met with them when he relocated to Abuja to find a better life. Hmmm, looking at this brother he is more depressed than before because just looking at him will tell that he is worse than before but don't know how to come out of it.
Overcoming depression is not a days job because it took lots of days to be in the state too. If am to say, there should be a rehabilitation center to care for the depressed. Looking at the present situation in our society is enough to bush someone off balance. One thing that keeps me going is the good hope that there is certainly going to be light at the end of the tunnel.
One word for someone today, keep hope alive because a living dog is more profitable than a dead lion. This post is in response to the hive learners contest week #107 edition 1. Thank You for coming around my blog, stay positive as always.
That means he has become an atheist. There are some situations that make people question if God exists, especially when they are doing the right things but it isn't working out for them. We should just pray to never find ourselves in such circumstances
That is it my dear, and a times the end is close but we will never see it when we give up
Overcoming depression is not an easy tasks. I have seen many people who went through thesame situation as that brother, giving up on God completely. But will giving up on God solve the problem? God is still God, the fact he remained silent doesn't mean he is no longer who he is.
Sometimes we need to let things just be and put our focus on God, trying to fight every little thing challenge that comes our way by ourselves is what even makes the problems bigger. when problems hit me I leave them to the one who is bigger than I am and walk away.

I see people doubt God so many times because bad things happened to them and eventually went into sadness and depression
I really can’t really imagine how much pain they must be experiencing to get that far
I only hope that they see the light in the end.

This is very true ,I was once there before,but I was able to overcome it by being contented with what I have , sometimes when we compare ourselves with others,it is really crazy
