Clean Planet Activity Day 64, 15-01-2024

Happy new week friends, it is a cold Monday morning over here. The weather is so cold to the point I had to cover the kids with a blanket as I was taking them to school. At the moment, the sun is Gradually rising which is reducing the cold already.

I am to continue with my last week's discussion on how to dispose leathers and what I will be highlighting today is dumping leathers in the bush.

This is commonly done by many people in most developing part of of the world. Just this morning after dropping the children at the school I decided to walk home because the distance is not so much. I got to a particular place and saw how pure water leather was dumped by the road. The leather is so much that you will know that it was a delibrate effort from may be the factory owners or something. Now, these leathers can decay so it will just be there till God know when. And give a little time that region will just be filled with waste and it will not be good for the sight.

Let us all work on how we dispose leathers as this particular one is not a good way of disposing them. Tomorrow I will talk on burning leathers and precautions to take before we do same.
