Fetching From The Wells Of My Woman

New month greetings to all my friends here and beyond, I prayed for a pleasant week for all last week, to me it was truly a pleasant one and I know it was for many too. For this week I pray more pleasant surprises this week.

This week, it is a privilege to talk about the traits I inherited from my parents. Our parents are the major people we pick up lots of characters from. On a lighter note, some men are use to saying that their children behavior is like that of the mother especially when the child misbehaves. But when the child is doing well, he will say am proud of you you boy/girl you just act like your father😂😂😂.

Am not so surprised because as I always say, success have lots of siblings, friends and well wishes but failure is an orphanage.

Most times I speak more about my mother because we stayed longer together than my father. Our father left so early while we were much younger to a home of no return so we have to build our lives achievements around Mom and she played so much roles in our lives.

A Heart for The Less Privileged

I am not just surprised of how far I can go to make sure that those who have little get much for themselves, I got that from my mother. Till date my mother have an orphanage home that she gives support to. As she is older now, she gets to inform me of have moves and I do give her all the support I can to make sure she is happy because that's one thing that give her joy and pleasure.

Accommodating Lifestyle

When we were much younger my mother left our house at the village for missionaries because most times they come and lack a good place to stay. Infact my younger sister is named after one missionary that came when she was pregnant for her, she was so kind to us and she decided to name her Bukola after the lady at that time.

Teaching Ability

My mother is a teacher to the core, she makes things so simple that even the dullest as they say will learn what is being taught. I have also seen myself flow in that aspect too. Unless you have made up your mind not to learn,but if you are willing and obedient you will learn from me. Most times I feel like opening the persons head to put what I want the persons to learn. Also I don't easily give up on a persons, truth be told a times I get discouraged but I try to encourage myself to do a thing too.

Learning is good but maintaining what was learnt is another thing too. Some children grow to take their own ways because they feel they are old enough to make their own decisions. But I don't see that as a good thing at all. Keeping to the legacies that our perants set for us.
