Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild Animation Movie Review

The movie starts in a restaurant where a group of hunters were talking to each other. They were young hunters and they say we will end the elder dragon together and thought this task is easy. Everyone was telling his plan happily and a man named ''Aiden'' was sitting near them who was a hunter. He was listening to them and then tells them I have fought with the elder dragon. He tells it isn't easy to end the elder dragon and then tells his story. The scene shifts to the past when ''Aiden'' was young and belongs to the time when there were a lot of monsters. He belongs to a village where there were no resources and they live far from the main villages. So they have to handle it whenever the monster arrives. ''Aiden'' tried to be a good monster hunter and wanted to save his village from the monsters.

One day, a villager comes to him and tells him someone has wasted my hard work. Someone has stolen the things which I collected as food and then ''Aiden'' checks the place. He sees some footsteps nearby and reaches the forest while following them. Reaching there, ''Aiden'' hears a voice and that was a huge blue dragon and was about to end ''Aiden''. ''Aiden'' was young and wasn't trained so he tried to end it but in the end, the monster was about to eat him meanwhile, a hunter named ''Julius'' arrives. He saves ''Aiden'' in the meantime and after ending the monster ''Julius'' asks him what is he doing in the forest? ''Aiden'' was thinking maybe it is the monster who has taken the food of the villager.

He tells this to ''Julius'' and also shows him the footsteps from the village to the forest. ''Julius'' understands to see that they are not real and tells ''Aiden'' someone has fooled you. ''Aiden'' understand who has done this and a cat-like creature lives near the village and it used to do things like this. He goes to it and beats it. After it, he brings it with him to the guild. So he will tell everyone who has stolen the food ''Aiden'' reaches the leader and ''Julius'' was already there. He was telling the leader a story of an elder dragon that how dangerous are they. They destroy the places on the way to their migration. Likewise, an elder dragon is coming this way and your village is also on its migration route. You should leave this place otherwise this village will be destroyed.

The leader doesn't believe this and the villagers were also told this but none believed. ''Aiden'' says I will go with ''Julius'' and if this will be true so we will have to leave this place later, he leaves with ''Julius'' while taking the cat creature. On the way, ''Julius'' trains ''Aiden'' as he has to be a good monster hunter. He asks ''Julius'' to tell him all the tricks and tips so I will be a good hunter like you. They stay at a place at night and have food suddenly, many dragons come to him, and ''Julius'' understands they are escaping from the elder dragon. They saw fire at a distance then they reach a height and see an elder dragon coming. Now ''Aiden'' has seen this and ''Julius'' asks him to go and tell everyone to leave the village. I will tell the other villages. Now ''Aiden's'' intention has changed and says we are monster hunters and we should not escape from it.

We should stop and compete with it. ''Julius'' laughs and forbids him while saying we can't fight with it because it is strong. ''Aiden'' says a line that we are hunters and we have to compete. ''Julius'' asks him from where he has read this line? "Aiden" hands him a book and says, "I read this from this book." ''Julius'' asks where did he get it? he tells he got it from that cat's house and later, he opens the book and tells this is of a hunter. They ask the cat creature to take them to the place from where it got the book. ''Julius'' also gets ready to end the elder dragon along with ''Aiden''. He fires with a flare gun and tells ''Aiden'' the other hunters will also reach us like this. We both can't do this alone and we will need the support of many other hunters.

Now they were going to the hunter with whom that book belonged and a huge monster attacks them on the way. Here they meet another hunter named ''Mae'' and now ''Mae'' and ''Julius'' face that monster. They defeat it and discover ''Mae'' is the hunter whose book was this. She becomes happy seeing her book meanwhile, another hunter named ''Nadia'' arrives and has brought resources with her. She reaches here after seeing the mark of the flaregun of ''Julius''. ''Julius'' makes them understand we want to fight with the elder dragon. We want to end it because it will ruin the villages nearby. Until we can escape, and "Nadia" convinces "Julius" that we will need a lot of resources to do so because we can't end it like this.

They were fighting with the monster it was running while taking a man. The man tells them there is a man named ''Ravi'' nearby and he is an amazing hunter. Your task will become easy if you ask for help from him. This hunter makes good weapons and they reach ''Ravi'' and tell him they want to compete with the elder dragon. So join us but ''Ravi'' tells them this isn't possible you are just wasting your hard work. This isn't possible to end the elder dragon and I can't help you. They have to leave and reach the village. ''Aiden'' tells everyone that he has seen the elder dragon. Now our plan is changed we will not leave but will face the elder dragon. ''Aiden'' tells we can't do this alone we need everyone's support. Later, the villagers work hard and build traps in order to stop the elder dragon as soon as possible. Later, they were told a plan there was a huge monster nearby having a poisonous mushroom in its tail.

They can make the elder dragon faint with it and they go to bring the mushroom. It was a pink huge monster they try to hold it but when they capture it finally it releases because of a mistake of ''Aiden''. They hear a voice and it discovers a huge monster is coming here. ''Julius'' sees this and asks everyone to leave because we can't fight with two monsters. As we can't handle even one monster. ''Aiden'' has realized his mistake and wants to take the mushroom himself. Then he says I will stay here and starts fighting with the pink monster. Meanwhile, the monster from the far distance also comes near and ends the pink monster while making it fall down and now attacking others. ''Julius'' makes the huge monster faint while using the mushroom.

He ends it and after all this, ''Julius'' becomes furious at ''Aiden'' that you don't listen to us and we would be ended because of you. Later, he asks him to go back to the village and we will complete the rest of the task. ''Nadia'' makes ''Julius'' understand that ''Aiden'' is younger and you also have done mistakes in your childhood so forgive him. ''Julius'' understands this and apologizes to ''Aiden'' now everything was fine and ''Ravi'' also reaches here. He was feeling maybe they will do something along with other hunters. They make a powerful weapon with ''Ravi'' now the time arrives and the elder dragon has reached the village.

It enters the village and they attack it one by one but the elder dragon was strong and even breaks their weapon made by ''Ravi''. Others attract the dragon toward them so ''Mae'' and ''Aiden'' will somehow repair the weapon. They were repairing the weapon and the others were fighting with the dragon. Then the fire emits from that dragon's mouth due to which ''Ravi'' burns and dies. Meanwhile, the weapon repairs, and when they attack it with the weapon it gets faint. Everyone was relieved and thought the dragon had died, but the dragon awoke again and they get scared now what to do but ''Aiden'' says I have a plan. He leaves while saying this and now the dragon has awoken and everyone was dealing with it in their own way.

The fire was emerging from its mouth and it eats ''Mae'' in all this. They were fighting with it and the dragon was defeating everyone while destroying the village. ''Aiden'' goes to a nearby dam that was made by weak woods and breaks the barrier of woods due to it, a lot of water flows into the village. Even with this water flow, this elder dragon moves far with it. Likewise, ''Aiden's'' plan becomes successful and they get rid of this elder dragon. Now everyone remembers ''Ravi'' and ''Mae'' the next day.

They lost their lives while saving others. ''Aiden'' leaves with ''Julius'' and ''Nadia''. Later, none knows about what has happened to ''Julius'' and ''Nadia''. Later, the story shifts to the present ''Aiden'' was telling this story to the other monster hunters. They don't believe him and then he shows them ''Mae's'' book and they believed the told story is true. After all this, the hunters move to end the other elder dragon. This movie concludes here.
