My wife's aunt has some sweet and hot pepper plants in recycled pots

Blessings to all my Hive friends! I'm grateful for the opportunity to share a new post here in the #hivegarden community, which is one of my favorites. As I've mentioned before, I really enjoy everything related to nature, especially agriculture, particularly plants we can use for food or cooking.

This morning, my wife and I visited one of her aunts. Since she also loves her plants (she usually keeps them in pots), I was walking around while they chatted when I saw these sweet pepper plants growing in containers—some recycled paint bottles and some water bottles. Each plant was individually planted in the container; there weren't many, just six. But I definitely need to try to replicate her success here at home. The ones I've planted directly in the ground are being eaten by insects, preventing me from getting a good harvest and saving money to invest in something else, perhaps Hive or another personal project.

While looking through the photos to share the best ones possible, I was surprised to find that one of the plants already has chili peppers, so they're still small. Perhaps being too close together prevents them from growing enough.

What's even more surprising is that I thought they were chili peppers, but one of them was a Chirel Picante, which, as you can see, looks very similar when they're small. As they grow a bit more, you can tell them apart. It's incredible, but I'll look for those kinds of recycled pots to keep my plants in and prevent insects from damaging them. Keeping them individually planted like this is best, and keeping them separated allows them to grow longer.
