First, we'll set up a referral program with codes, where users can find their referral link in a sleek profile section. When a new player joins, they can also add the code of the person who referred them. Once the code is added, the players are linked and can't be changed.

Here's how the referral system works:

Case 1) You refer someone, and for every 100 tickets they purchase in BUDS or HIVE, you'll receive 3 extra tickets.
Case 2) Your referral refers someone else, and for every 100 tickets they purchase, you'll receive 2 more tickets.
Case 3) Your referral's referral refers someone else, and for every 100 tickets they purchase, you'll receive 1 extra ticket.

We'll also be tracking referral information and creating a leaderboard that ranks users from most referrals to least. Each referral will earn you points:

1 first-level referral earns you 1 point on the leaderboard
1 second-level referral earns you 0.5 points on the leaderboard
1 third-level referral earns you 0.25 points on the leaderboard

The top 10 players with the most points will win prizes in BUDS, and the leaderboard will reset each month to keep the competition fresh.

VIP PROGRAM

For the ultimate referral experience, we're also introducing a VIP referral program that runs each month. If a user earns this perk, they'll receive the following tiers for their referrals:

Case 1) You refer someone, and for every 100 tickets they purchase in BUDS or HIVE, you'll receive 5 extra tickets.
Case 2) Your referral refers someone else, and for every 100 tickets they purchase, you'll receive 3 more tickets.
Case 3) Your referral's referral refers someone else, and for every 100 tickets they purchase, you'll receive 2 extra tickets.

To qualify for the VIP program, a user must have 25 active referrals during the month. For a referral to be considered active, they must have purchased at least 100 tickets in the BUDS or HIVE lottery.
