Half-vampire, the Dhampir are faster and stronger than normal humans. Most have taken to a mercenary lifestyle, never quite welcome with vampires or humans. The Stalker is adept at tracking their prey, then dispatching the target with a silent and perfectly-placed arrow from the shadows. 

💡Did you know that Dhampir means the result of the union of a vampire and a mortal human. This union was usually between male vampires and female mortal humans.💡

Contessa L'ament Vs Thaddius Brood

MY LINE UP

SUMMONER

I used Contessa L'ament because my previous battles commonly use Thaddius Brood with ranged attacks as his monster. I am trying to counter the attacks of my enemy in case he would use Thaddius Brood, too.

CARDS	ABILITIES	STRATEGY
	Shield - Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks	Shield is both anti-melee and anti-ranged attacks. He will be the best first tank for those kinds of attacks but very dangerous if the enemy would use magic.
	Void Armor - Magic attacks hit this Monster's armor before its Health. Knock out - Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.	I was just giving the enemy the benefit of the doubt by putting Djinn Muirat in this position.
	Poison - Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.	Who doesn't like the poison ability? This ability usually is a difficult to counter because not every monster has this ability that is why when I get to encounter a poison ability monster I am caught off guard.
	True Strike - This monster's attacks cannot miss. Blind doen't affect monster with True Strike.	The star of this battle weekly challenge. I liked him even before the challenge. Putting him to 4th position and if the enemy doesn't use a sneak/opportunistic attack, he would stay a little longer and damage more of the enemy's monsters.
	Close Range - Can perform ranged attacks from the first position.	Other than her close range ability, her high health can be a great control to the enemy's sneak thus giving more chances to Damphir Stalker.
	Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.	At level 2, my Uraeus has 2 melee attack, apart from 3 mana is what left from choosing cards, I preferrbly chose this monster because it has shield thus protecting itself from other sneaks.

ROUND 1

My enemy used my expected summoner: Thaddius Brood. Firs to attack was Cursed Windeku and with my first tank's shield, it has lesser impact. The downside, the enemy used Disintegrator which decreases my melee attacks into 1 furthermore, I forgot that the game rules was unprotected, therefore, my Uraeus was easily defeated by Silent Shi-va. With Thaddius Brood's decrease magic, it wasn't of a great effect when Djinn Muirat attacked. Followed by Damphir Stalker, Queen of Crows, and Haunted Spider attacks it gave Cursed Windeku a life of 1. The enemy did not want to end the round without any penetration so he targeted my Djinn Muirat but the last laugh was on me when Harklaw attacked Cursed Windeku.

ROUND 2

Now that round 2 has started, the first to attack is Silent Shi-va to my Queen of Crows. Just as what I have expected, putting her in the 5th position is a safe place for my other monster and at the same time could still attack the enemy. But my Djinn Muirat could not pierce through Bone Golem with his void ability. Thanking myself I did not doubt on Harklaw as my tank because Damphir Stalker of the enemy has decreased attack unlike I to him, with the same sequence of my attacks from round 1 leaving Bone Golem replaced by Disintegrator and putting him to the first position.

ROUND 3

Now this round made me nervous because at the early stage of this round, my first tank is already defeated, putting Djinn Muirat in the first position. But gladly, my ranged attacker finished Disintegrator living Silent Shi-va in the first position and was attacked by my Haunted Spider leaving the poison effect on him. Though Mantoid attacked him, it did not kill him.

ROUND 4

Now the poison has taken into effect, defeating Silent Shi-va in silence with the help of Djinn Muirat. Putting every ranged attacks in the first position is automatically disabled monster.🤣

ROUND 5

Despite the battle reached at round 5, the position of Mantoid is an obvious win to me.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, it worked just as how I imagined. I could pair it with Selenia Sky a legendary dragon summoner card with a plus 1 ranged attack or I could use Quix the Devious with a minus 1 ranged attack but an increase in my speed.

Do you like DHAMPIR STALKER? Why or why not?

I like it a lot, I mostly use it with almost every death battles with a high mana rule. I like it because his ability is true to its description. He never misses his attacks, his only downside is his low health in low levels.
