Well. Wherever "Thin air" is 😁 I'm sorry it has fallen under the spell of bad governance. @asgharali commented that not all politicians are evil or corrupt. That may be true for some countries.
Just a few months ago, the whole world was nostalgically saying good bye to Angela Merkel, as one of the most remarkable heads of State in recent history. I'm sure some countries are less affected by political corruption or at least have more efficient systems to keep them under control. What we are seeing globally, though, is a chaotic turn towards authoritarianism, human rights violations, and shameless complicity in the name of political expediency.

I like your use of Sacarsm. @asgharali maybe correct with opinion of not all leaders are bad and corrupt but remember what the one bad apple does in a basket of apples .

And I strongly agree with you that there are many rulers in the country who are corrupt. I can tell you that some 80% of the rulers are corrupt but there are also 20% good people who are running the country. Yes, otherwise God is the memorizer of such countries.
