Culling some more lions to find the truest strength

That headline or title is very misleading. I don't want to cull actual living Lions. With that disclaimer out of the way, it is tiome to continue studying some of the short listed items for the Strength tarot card. It has taken so long to go through this one, and I'm pretty satisfied with all the images produced, but at the same time, I wish I did not create so many of them.

In this image, we have finally managed to master the art of rendering hands. I like the Lion lurking in the background, and of course, the candle that is held in the hand. But, I really wish that the image of the Lion was a little more pronounced.

This is an incredibly sad looking lion. The woman looks tired, and like she is pleading for a break, too. It's an image with a completely different message, and as a result isn't really suitable for the representation of strength, but it is a beautiful image overall.

I like this next one too. The face has some strange proportions, but for a collage style image, it is really complete, right out of the gates. The woman's gaze is a tiny bit haunting, which is nice to see, and hte Lion is rendered well, if at a poor angle.

This next image is almost exactly what I was looking for, but it failed to do one thing, render the Lion well. As a result, I think I will be going back to the short list.

Not sure what I saw in this particular thumbnail.

I'm going to pick an image from the prior short listed images, and work on that in my next post on this series to complete another card. The project for this drags on, and seems to take almost forever, but I'll get through it, all I need to do is persist.
