Examine more examples of Justice with me - the AI Tarot Card project

These are the second set of thumbnails I have chosen to review for the Justice Tarot card. In case you’ve been living under a rock, or not looking in the AI Art and Information community where I have been posting these images, this project seeks to represent the 21 Major Arcana tarot cards.

The style I am aiming for is fantasy, and where possible, converting all the characters to women, because women in this setting appear to be extremely powerful figures.

I’ve generated what feels like hundreds of images for the topic of Justice, because I love what the image represents, and the subject matter is something that is really quite cool from a visual perspective, as well.

In this first image, we see Lady Justice gripping the sword between two fingers. Her eyes are almost completely closed, which could possibly stand in for the blindfold, but the absence of scales makes this image a poor choice.

Here we have scales represented well, but the head wrap / blind fold is a bizarre sight to behold. Additionally, the sword is more like a scythe, jutting out at a strange angle. It’s an interesting weapon design, but I do not know how practical it is.

Justice is on a pedestal. I like the posing of the arms in this image. They’re quite similar to how Justice is traditionally represented. For the prompts, I’ve used the term Themis, as in the traditional goddess represented as Justice, as opposed to a prompt related to “Justice” tarot cards, along with my stylistic cues.

The image would have been better had it also been wider. It isn’t, so I’ll be moving on.

An interesting alternative, with multiple weapons instead of purely the sword of Justice. If this had a blue colour scheme, it could be aquatic, mermaid style Lady Justice, but it isn’t/ Had this image implemented scales somehow; it would have been almost perfect. The blind fold, and the slight parting of the lips, as though about to utter a sentence, make this a strong candidate, apart from the fact it is missing the most important representational element, scales.

This image feels incredibly biblical. The halo backing the character’s head, the inscription behind the scales, the multiple hands… but then it tends to take on a darker context toward the bottom of the frame, owing to the shapes in the gown whispering about in the wind. The facial expression is also interesting. If this had a sword, and slightly better facial coherence, I would have definitely considered this as a final image.

I will continue my search through my thumbnails for more images.

Whoever says that AI art is easy clearly doesn’t understand the process to find the perfect seed and representation of what one sees within their mind’s eye.

It’s a journey. :)

I like the penultimate image, the blindfold is essential. Even so, I believe that the balance must appear somehow. Good job.

Definitely an essential element!

The word penultimate is also very underused today. I like that too!
