Home Education Curation Collection. 17th September 2023

It's been a busy week in the community again, which is wonderful to see.

Well it seems that both @romeskie and now myself have learnt something new. Have you ever heard of cinquain? This looks like a fun exercise in literacy, which should help to sharpen the mind while also helping with counting and creativity.



If you are needing some inspiration and resources for history, then you might find @viking-ventures' latest posts useful. This one is the most recent in a series of history posts she has been adding to the community. It's a little different to what we usually see here, but if it can help homeschoolers then it's good to have.



Yet another great learning idea comes from @gabrieladifazio, who gives us a variety of ideas using dominoes for fun maths learning and practise.



Some more literacy and creativity learning ideas came from @cirangela, using stories. She shows us how reading stories can expand a child's learning abilities in multiple areas.



Last, but not least, we have something a little different on the art front from @taliakerch whose son had the opportunity to do drawing on biscuits. As she says, it's not the healthiest of foods with all that sugar, but the amount of control needed for something like this is sure to help develop those fine motor skills.
