Home Education Curation Collection. 7th January 2024

Welcome back to HomeEdders as we start the new year. There has been lots of great activity in the community in this first week already; some new faces and some old ones we haven't seen for a while.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@tomaspalomo
@emimoron
@mdakash62
@cmplxty

It was lovely to see an update from @cmplxty on how his little man has been gaining confidence and even enjoying practising his writing. It really demonstrates the beauty of being able to tailor a child's education individually to develop a way to capture their interest on subjects they might not take to through standard methods.

We're usually encouraged not to take things apart in case we damage them. However, it can be an opportunity to learn how things are made, as @arrliin and her little ones have found out. When there is nothing left to lose, why not take the opportunity to learn?

@emimoron has been doing creative writing with her children. She shares how she approached the activity and how it gave the children different perspectives.

With Christmas over, @romeskie and her daughter are easing back into routine in a fun way with some art and some child led PE. It looks like they had lots of fun!

I feel like I could just keep going with adding in all this week's fantastic posts! I'm out of spots, though, so I can choose only one more. As we haven't heard from @ryivhnn for a while let's highlight their December activities. I do like @ryivhnn's updates as they are a good example of how homeschooling can move on and continue into the teen years.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @amphlux as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
