Ann's Unlikely Hero - Inkwell Prompt
Back in school, Ann's classroom was the most stubborn in the whole of the school and very popular for mischievous activities when a teacher isn't around.
The most surprising and fearful part of this was that Ann's teacher had zero tolerance to noise, but the students were just so hard hearted.
Ann got really worried about her classroom because she knew what happens when the teacher ditch out punishment for their disobedience.
And she had hardly get to avoid the punishment with the short time she had been in the class.
Ann was new in her class, and she didn't like been punished for any reason whatsoever, so she always tried to do what was expected of her. But despite all that, she couldn't avoid something. That is, working with a group. She could avoid been punished but on a case where she's grouped with the nasty students she was in same class with, was a different ball game all together.
Most times in class, when the teacher wasn't available, the class liked having fun and the fun was always an avenue to generate so much noise.
It happened on a faithful day, Ann woke up feeling good about her day, got ready for school and went to school early like always. After school assembly, they all went into their various classrooms to get their tutorials and later went for their break.
Ann was happy that the class was somewhat calm suspiciously but she decided to be happy that her class had took a new turn. After the break was over, they all went in their various classrooms and they were all seated waiting for their next teacher but the teacher wasn't available, Ann was surprised when her class started their noise and silliness again... She thought wrongly.
Just a few minutes later,the teacher came in and she was so angry at the way Ann's class was disturbing the school because other class teachers complained to her of her inability to conduct her class well and this got her so upset.
Out of anger, the teacher decided to flog every student in her class and started from the first row... Ann was at the last row luckily for her.
But Ann got scared as the teacher was going so fast and it was almost her turn to get flogged. The teacher got tired as it was a very big class but she wasn't planning to stop until she got close to Ann's seat. A teacher came in to plead for the students and surprisingly she listened to her and that was how that teacher saved Ann from the pains of being flogged.

I love this story. It is sweet and it speaks to a fundamental part of us as humans and students in specific. We want to be heard and hate being misunderstood.

What a turn out for Ann, her hero became one of the teachers who may had also made the teacher got angry with her talks about her incapabilities.
It kinda seem unfair that she stopped flogging after flogging some other students. But it was heroic to Ann and that's what matters.

I don't like it when when my fellow students make noise and everyone will be served a punishment there after.
This made me to remember my secondary school time, where everyone will be ordered to kneel down under the sun either you make noise our not, but since you're in the same class, you'll be serve the same punishment.
But Ann's happens to escape the flogging because of the teacher who came to their aid.., the teach was indeed an hero to Ann , she saved her from the pain of the flogging, of course she'll be very happy.

Well, it's a well known trick to stay at the end of a class when teachers are flogging.
The truth is the teacher will get tired before getting to your seat.
