Afri-tunes week 16 || Airplane Mode (Cover)
This is the sixteen week of Afri-tunes and it has been a really long week for me, hence my late entry but like they say, it's better late than never. I've been a little down since Tuesday but I guess I'm better now, I never thought I'd be able to make an entry for this week but I was wrong, hehe.
Well well I'm fine now and I decided to make something for you all. For this week, I did a song by FIREBOY TITLED AIRPLANE MODE. Fireboy is one of my favorite Nigeria artist and he's a great singer and song writer.
The lyrics of this so goes to explain about someone who is going through a lot and still choose to raise his head above water and he chose to do it alone at some point. In live we all go through that moment when we just chose to take all the risks by ourselves and not involve those we love. In this song, you could feel like the artist was passing through that type of situation hence he was motivated to write this song.
Hey, before you start thinking too much, I'm not passing through anything that I want to choose to be alone, hehe, I'm just singing the song because I like to sing it and also to make it known to those who haven't heard of it before. If you've not heard of him before, I'll advise you search about him, he has some really cool songs am sure you will love because he sings with so much soul and energy.
