Hello music lovers and singers, I'm so happy that I'm making another entry to the Hive open mic community for the #132 week with the theme Woman life freedom chosen by @discouragedones. I presented a song by Shakira Try Everything, which I believe fits this week's theme.

In time past even today, women have been oppressed, treated like properties that can be owned and sold at any time but today we see that the efforts that some great women and men have put in has started liberating women from that position they where. Back then women were restricted to just the home to be a complete home caretaker and it was surprising that some women despite the way of life then, they still kept trying to change things.

We have resilient women who took it upon themselves to bring changes to the way women and children were treated and there were times when they failed but then they did not give up, instead they started again because they were just determined to win the battle so they can be free. These women showed us that they were even ready to loose their lives as long as they stopped the discrimination of women and even children.

This song was sang in a movie, an animation movie titled Zootopia and for those of us that have seen this movie, you will see how the Bunny was so persistent, determined and focused in wanting to be a Cop despite how small she was and also seeing that she was a young girl. So many people doubted her but then she proved them all wrong that a bunny, a female one at that can me a Cop.

So as women we should not ever take failure as the end of the road for us but as the starting point of our journey to being free in our world today. As long as we keep trying and not giving up, we will surely achieve the freedom we seek.
