LEARNING - A WAY OUT

Maybe it's the fact that I love learning or maybe it's just that I haven't really seen anything that is so hard for me to learn. Well I obviously don't know everything so of course I guess there are actually some things that I find hard to learn. I only find it hard to learn something when I'm not interested in that thing or I don't have a good teacher to put me through that particular thing.

I've always been a curious girl while growing up so that made me always have interest in learning things. If not for this question, I've always seen everything as a challenge learning them and also easy too, depending on the situation. Anyways, I do know that there is one area that I'm not so good at learning from and that is academically. As a science student, I struggled with my physics and my chemistry a lot.

At some point I was so skeptical that I will even do well at those two courses because no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get it right. All through my high school, I just tried to manage through just to make sure I did well in those subjects but it was a struggle for me. I remember the joy I had when I saw I had a credit in those subject after my final examination.

I continued believing that I would never do well in those subjects because nothing just seem to be entering my brain but the good thing was I still loved those subjects anyways but I loved physics more. I saw chemistry as a no go area so I didn't stress myself too much looking for an A or a B in it, all I wanted was that I passed that subject. Not until I went for a predegree program and everything changed.

I guessed things changed because I was determined to win this time but then I was surprised it really happened that I started understanding those two subjects a little better. And somehow I even did better in chemistry in the end. I was so proud of myself and it was even hard for my friends to accept the fact that I don't do well in those subjects before.

The only thing I can say about it is that my teachers at the predegree program were really good and that made me open my mind to learning and things changed for the better. That alone made me believe that having a good teacher also matters when it comes to learning because I did way better than I expected and I didn't even give it my all as I should.

I do have quite a lot of things that I've learnt that didn't give me an headache at all. One of the things that I've learnt to do so easily is babysitting, lol. I'm not sure why I chose this over others but then I think this was so so easy for me to learn because I just love children. I was around 10 years old when I first took care of 2 children all through the day. It was hard but I did it and even the children's parents were amazed 😂.

All I did was take them like my younger ones. I gave them food, pet them to sleep and also bath them when necessary, hehe. When it comes to children, it's not easy understanding them but one thing is for sure, they all have something that they like and all you have to do is find that thing. Most times it takes long but in the end it's always worth it.

In all, like I mentioned when I started, learning is something I enjoy doing and it can be both hard and seamless depending on so many factors. But in all, I do believe that as long as I put my mind to anything, I can do it.

This is my response to the Hivelearners topic "IS LEARNING THAT HARD?"

Mathematics was my problem , so I didn't bother myself about it. I only read it to pass my examination🧐

I love babysitting too. So far, the baby is cool and calm, I'm good to go😁

Hehe, I had issues with all the subjects actually but physics and chemistry were the worst 😅.

Oh! That's great. Well, I like taking care of any child stubborn or not so that I can learn how to handle any kind of child 😊.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful contribution ❤️

Chemistry was a problem to me but I scaled through physics and mathematics. I love babysitting too.
Before I got admission into the university, that was my work though.

You have dropped a masterpiece here dearie. It's really a nice thing to love learning oo, but you see me, am afraid if learning oo, because it seems very stressful and traumatizing to my brain.
Sometimes I just wish they was nothing like learning, just flexing, lol.

Wow that's nice, so you know how to take care of babies this much hehehe that means we won't have problem when we get married 😃😃

Omo till today I'm still scared of physics and chemistry oo, I congratulate you for knowing it at last.

There was a time where things at times things does not work as planned, then we need to stick to our plans

Learning is hard when one does not open her heart to learning.

Learning is hard when the teacher makes it hard

Learning is hard when there are no tools for learning.

Finally, learning is hard because you think it is hard.

Thank you for your post.

Physics and chemistry, you must be a science student. One subject I had difficult in learning was mathematics, in fact, when I wrote my SSCE, I was extremely happy that there will be no more maths

Kai! that subject gave me headache😂 it almost made me to hate learning as a whole

But you believe I got an "A" in it😂 e shock me

Yep, I'm a science student 😊.

Wow, mathematics was always fun for me but I didn't really do well in it but I always passed it without so much stress.

You are lucky you got an A, hehe

When we include passion in whatever we desire to learn, it makes it come into reality. It almost depends on the kind of teacher we have, when we have goods ones, the learning process becomes easy. Chemistry and physics are difficult but they can be understood if we give ourselves to them.

You and babies enn, no wonder you treat me well. I am proud to have you as my mom .

Yeah, I was too skeptical about those subjects and I guess that was why I never did well until I tried to see that I can do better.

Yeah, who doesn't love babies?! 🤭

Thank you so much for your thoughtful contribution son ❤️

Babysitting children is tough, not everyone can do it, I finds it so difficult to babysit children, but I can play with them so much when someone is there to care of them, I am happy that you find it to be something you do so good.

Playing with children is fun and it's a good thing that you know how to do that.
