HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 143 || STAND UP COVER (ENG-ESP)

Hello everyone, it's Hive Open Mic week 143 and for this week we have an amazing theme that has my name in it ☺️ and I just love it for that, lol. I found an amazing song to portray the message of the theme "THE VOICE OF HOPE". When I saw the theme, I thought of a song I heard Last year during the Nigerian idol show and that is the song I presented for my entry. The title of the song is STAND UP BY CYNTHIA ERIVO.

Cynthia Erivo is both an actress, singer and song writer and she sang this song to express the life of Harriet Tubman in the movie Harriet which she starred as Harriet. Harriet was a great HEROINE of her time, history has it that she was able to free a lot of people from slavery in her lifetime. I got a detailed explanation of Harriet's history based on the movie Cynthia Erivo casted from @sweetsoul some months ago Here. Back then when I read that article, I never knew the song I heard was related to the movie but I loved both of them.

The song tells us how resilient and selfless Harriet was, she was a born slave but that did not stop her from thinking for herself and others. She was able to free herself from slavery but then she still gave hope to others that she left behind, she promised to go and prepare a place for them and come back to take them to freedom, the liken her to Moses in the Bible who freed the children of Israel. Harriet passed through so many difficulties but then she never forgot the people she was slave with, she still took the pain to go back to rescue them. She was the voice of Hope to her people and she kept to her promise to rescue them from slavery.

My video has some unprofessional traits in it because I'm still on my way of becoming a better singer and also due to the environment I live in, the noise is really hard to eliminate completely and I do hope you bare with me. Hola a todos, es la semana 143 de Hive Open Mic y para esta semana tenemos un tema increíble que tiene mi nombre ☺️ y me encanta por eso, lol. Encontré una canción increíble para retratar el mensaje del tema "LA VOZ DE LA ESPERANZA". Cuando vi el tema, pensé en una canción que escuché el año pasado durante el programa de ídolos de Nigeria y esa es la canción que presenté para mi entrada. El título de la canción es STAND UP DE CYNTHIA ERIVO.

Cynthia Erivo es actriz, cantante y escritora de canciones y cantó esta canción para expresar la vida de Harriet Tubman en la película Harriet, que protagonizó como Harriet. Harriet fue una gran HEROÍNA de su tiempo, la historia dice que pudo liberar a muchas personas de la esclavitud en su vida. La canción nos cuenta lo resistente y desinteresada que era Harriet, era una esclava nata pero eso no le impedía pensar en sí misma y en los demás. Ella pudo liberarse de la esclavitud pero aun así dio esperanza a otros que ella había dejado atrás, prometió ir y preparar un lugar para ellos y volver para llevarlos a la libertad, la comparan con Moisés en la Biblia que liberó los hijos de Israel. Harriet pasó por tantas dificultades, pero nunca olvidó a las personas con las que fue esclava, todavía tomó el dolor de volver a rescatarlos. Ella era la voz de la esperanza para su pueblo y cumplió su promesa de rescatarlos de la esclavitud.

Mi video tiene algunos rasgos poco profesionales porque todavía estoy en camino de convertirme en un mejor cantante y también debido al entorno en el que vivo, el ruido es realmente difícil de eliminar por completo y espero que me lo comprendan.
