man unternimmt eine Reise, um was zu erleben. Dieses Jahr habe ich einer meine großen Vorhaben erfüllt, einmal in der Goldenden Stadt Prag zu sein. Es war richtig aufregend für uns. Wie anständige Touristen haben wir uns eine Busreise mit Stadtführung gebucht. Wenn wir schon mal da sind, wollen wir auch vieles über diese Stadt erfahren und es gab viel zu sehen und das bei 31° C.

Unsere Stadtführung begann an der Engelsbrücke, sie führt über die Moldau, von dort aus hatten wir einen sehr guten Blick auf die Burg Hradschin, was auch der Sitz des Präsidenten der Tschechischen Republik ist. Auf dem Foto sieht man die Burg sehr gut. Über den jüdischen Stadtteil kamen wir zum Marktplatz, was für ein riesigen Platz und ein buntes treiben auf dem Markt. Was mir gleich ins Auge gefallen ist, ist das Altstädter Rathaus.

What immediately caught my eye is the Old Town Hall.

Das Altstädter Rathaus sticht gleich heraus und man kann es nicht übersehen. Wie es immer so ist bei einer Stadtführung, so richtig Zeit hat man eigentlich nicht. Doch wir hatten kaum Zeit, es ging weiter, zu einem Gebäude, was es nur einmal auf dieser Welt gibt. Es ist sehr außer gewöhnlich. Die Rede ist vom Prager Kubismus. Der Kubismus kennt man eigentlich von der Kunst oder auch Darstellungskunst. So ist es einmalig auf der Welt, den die Architektur des Gebäudes ist in Kubismus in Form umgesetzt worden.

Kaum war das Glockenspiel und Vorstellung der Apostel vorbei, ging es sofort weiter. Zu der wohl berühmtesten Brücke in Prag und auch geschichtsträchtig Brücke. Die Rede ist von der Karlsbrücke, die ihren Namen von Kaiser Karl IV. Auf der Brücke stehen 30 Figuren, die nach und nach durch Repliken ersetzt werden und die originale werden dann im Museum restauriert ausgestellt.
