AI is not an expert in love - La IA no es experta en amor
Perhaps we should look for the reasons among those who think that love is something that has no reasonable explanation and that it is only a chemical reaction. Perhaps we can infer that intelligence is frequently blocked or at least diminished by this feeling that does not understand logic.
The truth is that the now famous and highly praised ChatGPT did not give good answers to questions related to love when on February 14, a symbolic date where Valentine's Day is celebrated or Valentine's Day if you prefer, some asked him about different issues referring precisely to love.
I read about a specific example that leaves me no choice but to think that Microsoft's famous AI-based product still has a long way to go, at least in sentimental matters.
A local journalist asked ChatGPT to recommend romantic literature from Argentina to read on Valentine's Day, the answers were not what would be expected from someone so intelligent.
The first book that the program chose was "Love in the Time of Cholera" by the Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez, who is Colombian although the fabulous book that I read at least three times has some share of love, it is not exactly one of those romantic novels. that the journalist was waiting for and I don't think someone chose her to make a gift to their loved one thinking about that particular day.
The second selection was even more controversial: "La fiesta del chivo" by another Nobel Prize winner, in this case, Vargas Llosa, who is not Argentine but Peruvian, and his book has nothing romantic about it, rather it overflows with violence and death.
The third selection of the famous program was even worse, it named the book "Borges and I" supposedly written by, this time if Argentine, Jorge Luis Borges, the Nobel moral winner according to many experts since according to them he had enough merits except for the members of the Swedish academy who never granted it. However, Borges never wrote a book called that way, even if a short story where love and romance is not its main theme, who wrote a book with that name is an American academic and writer named Jay Parini.

It seems that the annotations to ChatGPT were misplaced and perhaps the market value of OpenAI or Microsoft shares will not plummet for this like those of Bard that fell like a stone when he confused the author of the first photograph of a planet outside the solar system, after all, who is interested in literature.

Lo cierto es que el ahora famoso y altamente elogiado ChatGPT no dio buenas respuestas ante preguntas referidas al amor cuando el 14 de febrero, fecha simbólica donde se festeja el día de San Valentín o de los enamorados si lo prefieren, algunos le preguntaron sobre diferentes cuestiones referidas justamente al amor.
Leí sobre un ejemplo concreto que no me deja otra alternativa que pensar en que el famoso producto de Microsoft basado en la IA todavía tiene un largo camino por recorrer, al menos en cuestiones sentimentales.
Una periodista local le solicitó a ChatGPT que le recomendara literatura romántica de Argentina para leer el día de los enamorados, las respuestas no fueron lo que se esperaría de alguien tan inteligente.
El primer libro que eligió el programa fue "El amor en tiempos del cólera" del nobel Gabriel García Márquez que es colombiano y si bien el fabuloso libro que leí al menos tres veces tiene alguna cuota de amor, no es precisamente una novela romántica de esas que la periodista estaba esperando y no creo que alguien la eligiera para hacer un regalo a su amada o amado pensando en ese particular día.
La segunda selección fue todavía más polémica "La fiesta del chivo" de otro nobel, en este caso Vargas Llosa que tampoco es argentino sino peruano y su libro no tiene nada de romanticismo, más bien desborda de violencia y muerte.
La tercera selección del famoso programa fue todavía peor, nombró el libro "Borges y yo" supuestamente escrito por, esta vez si argentino, Jorge Luis Borges, el ganador moral del nobel según muchos expertos ya que según ellos tenía los merecimientos suficientes salvo para los miembros de la academia sueca quienes jamás se lo otorgaron. Sin embargo Borges nunca escribió un libro llamado de esa manera aunque si un cuento corto donde el amor y romanticismo no es su tema principal, quien escribió un libro con ese nombre es un académico y escritor norteamericano llamado Jay Parini.

La periodista un poco aturdida y creyendo que había formulado mal la pregunta vuelve a insistir aludiendo principalmente a que los autores no eran argentinos y sin sonrojarse (difícil que una pantalla se sonroje a menos que sus pixeles comiencen a fallar) el chat le pidió disculpas y le mostró otra lista, de mal en peor.
Puso entre los títulos "El otoño del patriarca" otro de García Márquez, parece que alguien deberá revisar en las bases de datos que nutren esta IA porque la nacionalidad de los autores tiene un bug. Siguió con "El paraíso en la otra esquina", si aunque no lo crean nuevamente incluye un libro del peruano Vargas Llosa, "El cartero de Neruda" (bueno al menos aquí le pegó con el romanticismo) pero el autor es chileno y se llama Antonio Skármeta, para rematarla aunque aquí podríamos considerar solo una confusión y no un error, mencionó "El hombre muerto", un cuento corto de Julio Cortázar que si bien tuvo por adopción la nacionalidad argentina, es bien sabido que nació en Bruselas, Bélgica.
Parece que se le traspapelaron las anotaciones al ChatGPT y quizás el valor de mercado de las acciones de OpenAI o de Microsoft no se desplomen por esto como las de Bard que cayeron como una piedra cuando confundió de autor a la primera fotografía de un planeta fuera del sistema solar, después de todo a quien le interesa la literatura.

I strongly believe that robots cannot fully replace humans no matter what , can robots totally feel the emotions like humans do ??

Of course some humans have horrible emotions , but such humans can still change if they want to..but I cannot say the same for a robot that do not even have the emotions at all..

Seguramente avanzará de manera increíble e inexorable. Mi publicación apunta más que nada a explotar un lado divertido y hasta simpático aprovechando el día de los enamorados y las respuestas que por ahora tiene disponibles el chatgpt.
Esa temática como muchas otras cosas irán mejorando con el paso del tiempo. Basta leer las predicciones de Bill Gates para que veamos con mas detalles lo que nos espera.

El título de tu post me llamó la atención , leí tu post pero quiero decir esto , el amor es el sentimiento que nos transforma en unos imbéciles felices , es la razón por la que la inteligencia artificial no sabe del tema , es muy inteligente jaaaaaaa , hasta la inteligencia perdemos al enamorarnos , y no me digas que no es cierto , somos tontos felices , pero cuando las neuronas vuelven a chocar , pensamos , soy un imbécil jaaaaaaa
