Críticas a Guardiola
Cuando todo el planeta futbolístico en el día de hoy está alabando al técnico de mayor trascendencia en los últimos años por la extraordinaria exhibición de fútbol de su sorprendente Manchester City ante el Real Madrid, gran favorito de todos para llevarse una vez más la Champions League, yo solo quiero criticar al gran Pep Guardiola.
Muchos dirán, este tipo está loco. Puede ser, pero tengo una visión diferente sobre algunos aspectos de su forma de llevar adelante la conducción técnica de este gran equipo que supo conformar y que se fue afianzando en los últimos años, dejando por supuesto entre paréntesis, el mal trago que representó la eliminación en la semifinal de esta copa el año anterior justamente ante el mismo rival al que vapuleó en el día de ayer.
Guardiola evidentemente es un técnico superlativo y como tal tiene una confianza absoluta en su visión del juego y en la dinámica que sus jugadores deben mantener los 90 minutos, es un fanático de la táctica y la estrategia y en ocasiones se lo ve discutir con sus jugadores en el transcurso de un juego, no soporta que no se haga lo que el dice y lo defienda a toda costa, sucedió ayer mismo, todos pudimos ver como recriminó a De Bruyne por hacer algo mal.
Exige y se compenetra tanto con el juego que en ocasiones no observa que sus jugadores han dejado todas sus reservas físicas y mentales, muchas veces bastante antes que el encuentro finalice.
Nuevamente voy a poner como ejemplo el match de ayer, desde bastante antes que el encuentro se definiera con el tercer gol, había algunos jugadores del City que estaban totalmente exhaustos, hasta confundidos por la exigencia, el propio de Bruyne había dado muestras de cansancio y agotamiento mirando al banco con insistencia y levantando sus brazos, en algún momento se pensó que estaba acalambrado y se lo vio en un par de ocasiones tomarse las piernas con los brazos y la cabeza gacha. Hubo otros jugadores del City que sintieron el esfuerzo tremendo de dar todo, Guardiola no quería que se repitiera lo del año anterior.
Creo que Guardiola no vio esas señales tan claras y si las vio las ignoró. Tuvo suerte porque el Madrid es el Madrid y si bien se lo notaba totalmente confundido y con escasas respuestas, pudo en alguna ocasión haber descontado, todos sabemos que cuando eso ocurre la victoria de cualquier oponente está en peligro, La mística copera de los merengues surge de sus entrañas y pasa de cordero a lobo en un segundo, lo ha demostrado constantemente. Guardiola, quizás sin saberlo, coqueteó con ese escenario.
Recién cuando el tercer gol se hizo realidad y en una jugada bastante común además de afortunada comenzó a pensar en hacer algún cambio, podemos decir que fue cuando se apiadó del estado en que se encontraban varios de sus dirigidos.
Luego llegó el cuarto y último gol y la fiesta fue completa, todo fue algarabía y felicidad, cualquier desliz se tapa ante estas circunstancias.
Una perlita adicional que probablemente pocos sepan, el argentino Julián Álvarez cuando apenas contaba con 11 años de edad salió de su ciudad natal, una pequeña población rural llamada Calchín en la provincia de Córdoba de tan solo 3200 habitantes, para probarse en el Real Madrid, el cazatalentos Piero Foglia que tenía buenos contactos con el club merengue fue alertado de la destreza y fortaleza del pequeño y no dudó en llevarlo.
