Yesterday I mentioned in a post that Hive could grow faster and more solidly if it added to its current projects others in the fields of commercial and administrative applications. I still had to mention the educational projects that are supported by the blockchain and the rest of the crypto technologies. they have a huge future.
No one who knows the reality of Latin America can deny that it is urgently necessary to provide more and better tools that collaborate with education at all levels, it is the only way for the region to take concrete steps in its development.
Already before, but with a strong boost caused by the pandemic and the restrictions on traditional education, technology is finding ways to close the gaps in access to education and practice. In Latin America alone, more than 160 million children have suffered a negative impact on their education during the years 2019 and 2020, the recovery has been slow but as I said, EdTech is collaborating with creative and innovative solutions that close that gap and promote education for the future.
These days I have been reading that EdTech has advanced very strongly in the region in recent years, mainly in response to the demands of the students themselves, but also of schools, universities, and companies that need people trained in the best way. willing to compete in a job market that is increasingly demanding.
Although it is true that digital maturity is still low in the region compared to the most advanced countries and that probably a no less important factor contributes to this delay, I am referring to a great resistance to change, motivated and often encouraged by several of the governments of the region that prefer to have poor and ignorant people who vote for them instead of educated and educated citizens willing to give their best so that their countries and compatriots improve their living standards and opportunities; Everything is changing, slowly but finally changing at the hands of companies and institutions dedicated to the creation of technological tools for teaching.
According to a recent census, there are currently more than 1,500 EdTech in Latin America and the Caribbean, leading the ranking in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Argentina, and the numbers are growing month by month.
Perhaps some members of our community are thinking of adding technological tools specialized in education and learning to our ecosystem and Web3. It would be something extraordinary that would take us up a few steps in general consideration.

Nadie que conozca la realidad de Latinoamérica puede negar que se necesita urgentemente dotar de más y mejores herramientas que colaboren con la educación en todos los niveles, es la única manera de que la región de pasos concretos en su desarrollo.
Ya desde antes, pero con un fuerte impulso provocado por la pandemia y las restricciones para la educación tradicional, la tecnología está encontrando formas de achicar las brechas en el acceso a la educación y la práctica. Solo en América Latina, más de 160 millones de niños han sufrido un impacto negativo en su educación durante los años 2019 y 2020, la recuperación ha sido lenta pero como dije, las EdTech están colaborando con soluciones creativas e innovadoras que cierran esa brecha y potencian la educación para el futuro.
Por estos días estuve leyendo que las EdTech han avanzado muy fuertemente en la región en los últimos años, principalmente como respuesta a las demandas de los propios estudiantes, pero también de las escuelas, las universidades y las empresas que necesitan personas capacitadas de la mejor manera dispuestas a competir en un mercado laboral que es cada vez más exigente.
Si bien es cierto que la madurez digital es todavía baja en la región respecto a los países más avanzados y que probablemente un factor no menos importante ayuda a ese retraso, me refiero a una gran resistencia al cambio, motivada y muchas veces incentivada por varios de los gobiernos de la región que prefieren tener pobres e ignorantes que los voten en vez de ciudadanos educados y cultos dispuestos a dar lo mejor de si para que sus países y compatriotas mejoren sus niveles de vida y oportunidades; todo está cambiando, lentamente pero cambiando al fin de la mano de las empresas e instituciones dedicadas a la creación de herramientas tecnológicas para la enseñanza.
Según un reciente censo, hay en estos momentos en Latinoamérica y el Caribe más de 1500 EdTech liderando el ranking Brasil, México, Chile y Argentina y las cifras crecen mes a mes.
Quizás algunos miembros de nuestra comunidad estén pensando en agregar a nuestro ecosistema y a la Web3, herramientas tecnológicas especializadas en la educación y el aprendizaje. Sería algo extraordinario que nos haría subir unos escalones en la consideración general.
