The title is an expression that always seemed strange to me, of course, that in general the word flee is associated with persecution or a catastrophic event so the escape should be in direct relation, although opposite to the problem, that is, if my problem is forward I should flee backward or to the side, to give an example: in front of me there is a fire or a gang of criminals, so it does not seem logical to escape towards them but quite the opposite.

However, if we analyze the context in which this expression is frequently used, we must conclude that it refers to something else, to escape into the future so as not to recognize the mistakes of the past. Now if it makes more sense.

In my country, the ruling party has been repeating this behavior for a long time, they always escape forward because the errors and contradictions they carry in their backpack are so many that they cannot be corrected and it is better to leave them behind and make sure that voters quickly forget about those messy things.

A few days ago the news broke that Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook and engulfing successful applications decided to change the name of his company and promote the metaverse in a sudden action with a hint of desperation precisely to take a step forward and forget all the criticisms and questions that it has received in recent times.

Many of us wonder what metaverse means, it is something that I did not understand globally until someone using the wonderful genius of the simple and concrete told me that it is something like what until not long ago was called virtual reality. Every day we live more and more immersed in the digital world, social applications dominate our lives and with rare exceptions, we all have participated, although it is difficult for us to recognize it. The metaverse, beyond Zuckerberg's intentionality of use, will allow us no longer to surf the internet or play with various realistic screens and sounds but to directly immerse ourselves inside it to experience what has been called the meta-universe.

Apparently, in addition to a leap into the future to leave past mistakes behind, the company now called Meta (the name already gives some clues) believes that there is a huge business in the commercialization of virtual products and shows, they believe and surely this will be the case. , which mainly young people are willing to pay for it.

There is a whole new universe of opportunities and both the blockchain and cryptocurrencies have fundamental participation in the change that is coming.

El título es una expresión que siempre me pareció rara, claro que en general se asocia la palabra huir con una persecución o un evento catastrófico por lo que el escape debería estar en relación directa, aunque opuesta al problema, es decir que si mi problema está adelante yo debería huir hacia atrás o hacia un lateral, para poner un ejemplo: delante de mí hay un incendio o una banda de malhechores, entonces no parece lógico escapar hacia ellos sino todo lo contrario.

Sin embargo, si analizamos el contexto en que esa expresión se utiliza frecuentemente, debemos concluir en que se refiere a otra cosa, a escapar hacia el futuro para no reconocer los errores del pasado. Ahora si tiene un mayor sentido.

En mi país el partido gobernante viene repitiendo esa conducta desde mucho tiempo atrás, siempre escapan hacia adelante porque los errores y contrasentidos que llevan en su mochila son tantos que no se pueden enmendar y es mejor dejarlos atrás y procurar que los votantes se olviden rápido de esos desaguisados.

Hace pocos días se conoció la noticia que Mark Zuckerberg, el creador de Facebook y fagocitador de aplicaciones exitosas decidió cambiar el nombre de su empresa y promocionar el metaverso en una acción repentina con visos de desesperada justamente para dar un paso hacia adelante y olvidar todas las críticas y cuestionamientos que ha recibido en los últimos tiempos.

Muchos nos preguntamos que significa metaverso, es algo que no llegaba a comprender globalmente hasta que alguien utilizando la maravillosa genialidad de lo simple y concreto me dijo que es algo así como lo que hasta no hace mucho se daba en llamar realidad virtual. Vivimos cada día más y más inmersos en el mundo digital, las aplicaciones sociales dominan nuestras vidas y salvo raras excepciones todos tenemos participación, aunque nos cueste reconocerlo. El metaverso, más allá de la intencionalidad de uso de Zuckerberg, nos posibilitará ya no navegar por internet o jugar con varias pantallas y sonidos realistas sino directamente sumergirnos dentro de ella para experimentar lo que se ha dado en llamar el meta-universo.

Según parece, además de un salto hacia el futuro para dejar atrás errores del pasado, la compañía ahora denominada Meta (el nombre ya da algunas pistas) cree que hay un enorme negocio en la comercialización de productos y espectáculos virtuales, creen y seguramente así será, que principalmente los jóvenes están dispuestos a pagar por ello.

Hay todo un nuevo universo de oportunidades y tanto la blockchain como las criptomonedas tiene reservada una participación fundamental en el cambio que se avecina.
