Lluvia de goles
Ayer comenzó la última fecha de la primera etapa del mundial Sub 20, clasificatoria para las próximas etapas donde ya no habrá grupos sino solo enfrentamientos individuales y eliminatorios, el que pierde se vuelve para su país y el que gana continúa su marcha en pos de esa trofeo tan ansiado por todos.
Los encuentros que se disputaron pertenecían a los grupos A y B,
por el grupo A Argentina, ya clasificado aunque no todavía en la primera posición, enfrentaba a Nueva Zelanda y Uzbekistán a Guatemala.
El fútbol tiene esas cosas en ocasiones incomprensibles e imprevisibles que lo convierten en un deporte por demás atractivo, la selección local con buen tino, reservó a la mayoría de los titulares para darles descanso, evitar alguna tarjeta amarilla y de paso darle minutos a algunos suplentes que aun no habían visto acción, el resultado no pudo ser mejor, la albiceleste jugó el mejor partido de los 3 disputados ganando por 5 a 0 aunque pudo convertir varios goles más. Dinámica, buen toque, lujos y goles, no se puede pedir más, lamentablemente lo sufrió Nueva Zelanda que quedó tercero en el grupo con 4 puntos y -4 de diferencia de gol, deberá esperar los próximos resultados para saber si pasa a la siguiente ronda. Esto debido a que Uzbekistán triunfó por 2 a 0 y alcanzó los 4 puntos pero con una diferencia de gol de +1.
Por el grupo B se enfrentaban el ya clasificado Estados Unidos contra Eslovaquia y Ecuador contra Fiyi.
El conjunto norteamericano ganó con comodidad y justicia ante Eslovaquia y la sorpresa de la jornada estuvo a cargo del conjunto sudamericano, Ecuador le propinó la mayor goleada del torneo hasta el presente a la débil escuadra de Fiyi, fue 9 a 0 y lo más curioso es que casi en tiempo cumplido estaba 5 a 0, hubo un descalabro y una confusión descomunal en los chicos fiyianos y en pocos minutos les convirtieron otros 4 goles. Lamentable final para Fiyi y glorioso para los ecuatorianos.
Hoy será el turno de la última fecha para los grupos C Y D, por el grupo C Colombia, ya clasificada, enfrenta a Senegal que no puede alcanzarla pero si puede aspirar a clasificarse con un triunfo, el otro encuentro será entre Japón e Israel, ambos con chances aunque el conjunto oriental tiene 3 puntos contra 1 solo de los israelíes.
Por el grupo D la situación está más que interesante, Brasil se enfrenta al puntero e invicto Nigeria que con un triunfo dejaría prácticamente eliminado a los verde amarillos y en el otro encuentro Italia que alternó una buena con una mala se juega todo frente a República Dominicana, el rival más débil en los papeles. Cualquier cosa puede pasar en este grupo y solo resta sentarse a disfrutar desde la tranquilidad como se desarrollan los acontecimientos.
Por supuesto Nigeria será local hoy, los argentinos siempre queremos que Brasil pierda, es más fuerte que nosotros.

Anything can happen in this group and all that remains is to sit down and enjoy the quiet as events unfold.
Of course, Nigeria will be home today, we Argentines always want Brazil to lose, they are stronger than us.
