¿Un prodigio en ciernes?
A mis amigos de #chesbrothers seguramente les va a gustar esta historia, vaya ella en agradecimiento por apoyar mis publicaciones en esta gran comunidad deportiva que representa #fulldeportes y que abarca una gran cantidad de disciplinas, entre ellas el apasionante mundo del ajedrez.
Hace un tiempo que escucho hablar de un niño que aún no ha cumplido los 10 años, su nombre es Faustino Oro, nació y vive cerca de aquí, en el barrio de San Cristóbal en la Capital Federal de la República Argentina.
Ha captado la atención de la FIDE por sus extraordinarios resultados ya que ha sido el más joven en todo el planeta en obtener una norma de maestro internacional, lo logró a una edad más temprana que grandes monstruos del juego ciencia tales como Bobby Fischer, Garry Kasparov y el noruego campeón mundial Magnus Carlsen quien además es el ídolo y quiere emular el pequeño Faustino.
Repasando sus antecedentes, llama poderosamente la atención el hecho de que aprendió a jugar hace tan solo 3 años, durante la pandemia siendo su profesor el maestro internacional Jorge Rosito. Realmente increíble la evolución del pequeño ajedrecista.
El pibe de oro lo llaman y ya es el mejor ajedrecista del planeta en las categorías sub-8, sub-9 sub-10 e inclusive sub-11, al menos desde que la información sobre el juego y sus resultados se recopila, valida y documenta. Y esto ocurre desde hace unos 15 siglos.
Ya obtuvo los títulos de Maestro Candidato y Maestro FIDE y acaba de conseguir la primera norma de Maestro internacional hace pocos días en el torneo ITT Copa Ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia en la provincia de Chubut consiguiendo el segundo puesto y enfrentando a varios jugadores de categoría, entre ellos dos con título de Gran Maestro Internacional, dos Maestros Internacionales, dos Maestros FIDE y varios más sin esos títulos, pero todos muy fuertes jugadores.
Como mencioné concluyó en el segundo lugar por detrás del campeón argentino y GMI Diego Flores, obtuvo 6,5 puntos producto de 4 victorias y 5 empates (invicto) y solo 1 punto por detrás de Flores. Con este logro ha llegado a un ELO de 2325, un puntaje que nadie ha alcanzado a los 9 años de edad.
Se que es tan solo un niño y muchas cosas pueden ocurrir, no está garantizado que llegue a ser lo que se presupone, sin embargo, no nos apresuremos, voy a seguir su carrera, apunta muy alto. Por España ya le han puesto el mote de "el pequeño Messi del ajedrez".

For some time now I have heard about a boy who has not yet turned 10 years old, his name is Faustino Oro, he was born and lives near here, in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal in the Federal Capital of the Argentine Republic.
He has caught the attention of FIDE for his extraordinary results since he was the youngest on the entire planet to obtain an international master standard, he achieved it at an earlier age than great monsters of the science game such as Bobby Fischer, Garry Kasparov, and the Norwegian world champion Magnus Carlsen who is also the idol and wants to emulate little Faustino.
Reviewing his background, the fact that he learned to play just 3 years ago, during the pandemic, with his teacher being the international teacher Jorge Rosito, draws powerful attention. The evolution of the little chess player is truly incredible.
They call him the golden kid and he is already the best chess player on the planet in the sub-8, sub-9, sub-10, and even sub-11 categories, at least since information about the game and its results has been collected, validated, and documented. And this has been happening for about 15 centuries.
He has already obtained the titles of Candidate Master and FIDE Master and has just achieved the first international Master standard a few days ago in the ITT Copa Ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia tournament in the province of Chubut, achieving second place and facing several top players, including two of them with the title of International Grand Master, two International Masters, two FIDE Masters and several more without those titles, but all very strong players.
As I mentioned, he finished in second place behind the Argentine and GMI champion Diego Flores, he obtained 6.5 points from 4 wins and 5 draws (undefeated) and was only 1 point behind Flores. With this achievement, he has reached an ELO of 2325, a score that no one has reached at 9 years of age.
I know that he is just a child and many things can happen, but it is not guaranteed that he will become what he is supposed to be, however, let's not rush, I am going to follow his career, and aim very high. In Spain, he has already been nicknamed "the little Messi of chess".
