Weird week - Semana rara
If we observe the stock market and financial behavior around the world we will see a bit of confusion, all the indices rise in Europe, but they fall in the United States and Asia, I can mention the Latin American stock markets of course, although their relevance in the world financial concert is to all you look much less important.
But I cannot fail to mention that the behavior in this subcontinent is sometimes disconcerting, yesterday all the indicators fell in most of the countries of the region except Peru, today it would seem that the beginning is totally different, they all rise except for Peru and Columbia. In my country, I have long since stopped trying to understand our stock market.
In the USA, the news of a growing recession coupled with the tremendous effect produced by inflation and now the significant increase in fuel prices is having an impact on the stock markets. In Europe the issue is almost inexplicable, the war and the news of its possible extension to other countries, the gas problem, and other adverse economic factors present a complex and pessimistic picture, but the stock markets seem not to take it into account, at least as shown yesterday and today, those factors.
But here we are mainly to talk about cryptocurrencies, and in that sense, I must confess that every day their behavior is more similar to that of traditional values, despite us.
The main cryptocurrencies with bitcoin in the lead as always, are at an impasse, the most important by market capitalization has remained around 21,000 dollars for several days and although it has risen a little since the previous week, that fear of a new collapse. However, some analysts via Twitter have announced that the whales are buying again, interesting news that, if consolidated, could return this market to an upward trend.
The cryptocurrency crisis that everyone is talking about is still in a dilemma, we are in the worst moment of the last two years and many factors threaten the rapid recovery that we all long for.
Here in my country, the blow caused by TerraUSD has been hard, as I have mentioned on several occasions the exchange restrictions and high inflation have led many to take refuge in stablecoins, unfortunately, some transferred their assets to this currency which collapsed at the beginning of the month leaving a trail of financial wounded. But that doesn't seem to have made a dent in the enthusiasm that we have around here in the cryptographic paradigm, for many it is a lifesaver and even if it is a little bruised and with the paint worn, it still floats.
Si observamos el comportamiento bursátil y financiero alrededor del mundo veremos un poco de desconcierto, todos los índices suben en Europa, pero bajan en Estados Unidos y Asia, puedo mencionar las bolsas Latinoamericanas por supuesto, aunque su relevancia en el concierto financiero mundial es a todas luces mucho menos importante.
Pero no puedo dejar de mencionar que el comportamiento en este subcontinente es en ocasiones desconcertante, ayer bajaron todos los indicadores en la mayoría de los países de la región menos en Perú, hoy parecería que el comienzo es totalmente diferente, suben todas a excepción de Perú y Colombia. En mi país hace tiempo que he dejado de tratar de entender nuestra bolsa de comercio.
En USA las noticias de una recesión creciente aunado al tremendo efecto que produce la inflación y ahora el aumento significativo de los combustibles está repercutiendo en las bolsas de comercio. En Europa el tema es casi inexplicable, la guerra y las noticias de una posible extensión de la misma a otros países, el problema del gas y otros factores económicos adversos presentan un panorama complejo y pesimista, pero las bolsas parecen no tener en cuenta, al menos según lo demostrado ayer y hoy, esos factores.
Pero aquí estamos principalmente para hablar de las criptomonedas, y en ese sentido debo confesar que cada día su comportamiento se parece más al de los valores tradicionales, mal que nos pese.
Las principales criptomonedas con el bitcoin a la cabeza como siempre, se encuentran en un impasse, la más importante por capitalización de mercado se mantiene alrededor de los 21.000 dólares desde hace varios días y aunque levantó un poco desde la semana anterior todavía permanece ese miedo a un nuevo derrumbe. Sin embargo, algunos analistas vía Twitter han anunciado que las ballenas están comprando de nuevo, noticia interesante que de consolidarse podría volver a una tendencia alcista este mercado.
La crisis de las criptomonedas de las que todos hablan se encuentra todavía en una disyuntiva, estamos en el peor momento de los dos últimos años y muchos factores atentan contra una rápida recuperación que todos anhelamos.
Aquí en mi país el golpe ocasionado por TerraUSD ha sido duro, como he mencionado en varias oportunidades las restricciones cambiarias y la alta inflación ha llevado a muchos a refugiarse en las stablecoin, lamentablemente algunos pasaron sus activos a esta moneda que colapsó a principios de mes dejando un tendal de heridos financieros. Pero eso no parece haber hecho mella en el entusiasmo que por aquí tenemos en el paradigma criptográfico, para muchos es un salvavidas y aunque esté un poco machucado y con la pintura desgastada, todavía flota.
