It is asserted that one of the most taxing situations that a photographer face, is during capturing a live gig. Also, there might be some different ideas about this topic but I do believe often this is the case.

First and foremost, the definition of the art of photography can lead us to a better and deeper understanding of this matter; Photography is the art of immortalizing moments. With that in mind, such are events with constantly changing scenery. A live concert is a case in point; during every song the lighting changes and the band moves all over the stage which makes such unbearable situation for photographers to select a frame and take it. Furthermore, not only must camera setting adjust accordingly to the fast peace lighting alteration, but they need to set in correlation to each other in order to provide correct exposure for each shot. This is if not impossible to set on the fly, so challenging to get right.

On the other hand, the vibe and structure of the songs will guide the photographers during the gig. Numerus number of tunes follow certain structures and with some basic knowledge and a google search about this matter, a lot can be learned. For instance, most song have couple of choruses in them, hence, there are couple of chances to get good shots and call it a day. What is more, one can latch onto the vibe of the tunes and take the shots of muse, although, it is so hard to explain but there is a clear-cut relation between the perceived vibe and the final shots.

All in all, photographers face broad range of hardships during immortalizing a live event. While, there are few guidelines to make the artists jobs easier, difficulty and number of challenges out weight the guides.
