Christmas in Peschiera del Garda: a tour of lights, markets and underwater nativity scenes
Hello friends, a few days ago I took a trip to Peschiera del Garda, a small town of about 10,000 inhabitants located south of Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. I was curious to see how this city is celebrating the holiday season, so I want to share something with you.
I started my tour at the old port of Peschiera del Garda, where there are still many boats temporarily parked in this place waiting for the start of the spring season. In spring, many tourists come here to the lake because they have second homes in the area. It is a very charming place, where you can breathe the air of the past and admire the old boats. From there, I decided to continue my tour towards the old town, where I could see how the city is preparing for the Christmas holidays. I noticed that there are many decorations and lights that make the atmosphere very pleasant and festive. In addition, I was fortunate to meet many locals who were very kind and willing to tell me the history and traditions of Peschiera del Garda. It was a really enjoyable day and I felt very immersed in the atmosphere of the place.
Every year, a small underwater nativity scene is created near the port of Peschiera del Garda. It is a very cute event that is organized every year and attracts many visitors from different parts of Italy. The underwater nativity scene is a very characteristic and unique attraction, representing one of the most original Christmas traditions of this city. All those who come to visit Peschiera del Garda during the Christmas holidays cannot miss this nativity scene, which is a true tourist attraction. If you are interested in discovering the beauty of Lake Garda during the holiday season, I recommend you not to miss this very special event.
Peschiera del Garda is a city that is surrounded by a series of parks where people go for a walk to enjoy nature. This year, for the first time, Christmas lights have been set up in the form of a weeping willow. These lights create a very sparkling and festive atmosphere in the city's parks, making the holiday season even more special.
Naturally, many people come to Peschiera del Garda during the Christmas period to take photos of themselves amidst the Christmas lights. In fact, in the evening, when the lights are even more noticeable, there were a large number of people here to take photos and capture this special moment. It is a very popular tradition at this time of year among tourists and locals alike. Christmas lights have the power to create a magical and festive atmosphere, and many people want to preserve a memory of this special moment through photographs.
Thank you for reading to the end of this post. I hope you enjoyed this simple and quick story of mine. Surely, in the coming days, I will bring more photos of other markets and other towns in Italy that are preparing for the last day of the year. So I look forward to my next post and wish you a good day. Thanks again for following my story about Peschiera del Garda and its Christmas festivities. I hope you found this information useful and that it made you want to visit this town during the Christmas period. Have a great day everyone!

Thank you
You're welcome (^_^)
Hello✌️
I love the nativity scene, that’s very clever!
Thank you for your comment. In some way, I'm trying to show something interesting about my country in a very simple way, also because I'm not a good photographer and I'm not a good videomaker.
I think just sharing these things outweighs the production skills. Those will improve the more you do them. That’s been the case with my photography and video editing skills. That I don’t do enough of and what to get back into.
