Ciao a tutti

Hello everybody

In recent days the question has emerged concerning the closure of the Uffizi museum in Florence on October 31st, which seems to have sent the new minister of culture into a rage. This seems to have been due to the continuing shortage of staff, which most Italian museums have to deal with. in fact, the director of the Uffizi replied that he had already pointed out the problem to the previous minister of culture, but had not received any response.

Naturally, the first outing of the new minister Sangiuliano was to affirm that he is opposed to free Sundays at the museum, because in some way they devalue Italian art and make the Italian museum sector lose thousands of euros. As usual, instead of solving the problem, politicians always come out with these c ******. The minister affirms that the rich man with the yacht cannot be allowed to enter Pompeii for free, in part on this statement I could also agree even if in reality there are many things that do not work inside the museums. For example, many museums abroad, most of its business is not focused on selling tickets, but maybe they organize special events where they rent parts of the museum to important people or brands. Most likely, this makes me understand, that museum minister has shot very few of them, because there are certain that one cannot even have a coffee inside because there is no bar, a business that would certainly give much more profit to the museum. Even one thing that struck me about most American museums, which manage to create a part of merchandising linked to the museum, instead it happened to me in Italy that even in some museum that I wanted to buy a book that spoke of the same museum did not exist a merchandising or souvenir shop. Even in some there is not even an audio guide, eh that in addition to being a lack of a useful service for tourists, it is also a way to earn some money for the museum. I know that this government, when it appointed the minister of culture, did not take into account the merit, and you can see it from these statements it has made. As for the staff, given that they are in contact with people who work inside the museum, these places are probably no longer very attractive from the working point of view, because those who work inside are underpaid, we are talking about 3 € per hour too.

thank you for reading the post up to this point, I'll meet you next time and wish you a good evening
